Great season, congrats to Jeremy but I fear Val isn't going to be in any hurry to drop the baby weight.
I don't think Jeremy is the type to care that his wife may carry some baby weight for a bit. He loves that woman.

I'm glad Jeremy won. He was my favorite. He has always come across as a genuinely nice person, and he played a good game. It's the first time I've felt all three finalist were deserving to sit there at final tribal. Fun season.
I didn't like him in the first season because he seemed angry right from the get go. But he was awesome this season. He definitely deserved to win and I was happy he did.

I didn't care for Spencer in his first season or this one. I like him better this season, but I still don't like his personality much. I do think he earned his spot in the final.

My fiance felt the same way. I felt bad for him the first season because of the group he was on. And this season I was happy to see that he made some changes as well. But while I liked him, I don't think I was ever rooting for him to win. I really liked Keith and was hoping he'd pull of a victory some how. He just seems so genuinely nice.

Great Season. Going to be hard to top that one.
Yep, Probst even called it 1b, after season, just because he said that will always be his favorite. But this season's gameplay was unparalleled in his opinion.

Keith is a moron. Why hide the fake idol. Should have walked back to camp with it and shown it off all day.
How often do people with real idols do that though? If he does it then I think they will all suspect it's fake.

If Kimmi just targeted Spence instead of Jeremy everything would've changed.
The only real play Kelly and Keith had was for Kelly to say "all I know is that Keith and I aren't going home tonight" and hand him the tied bundle containing the fake idol. Have Keith hoot and holler say thank you and put it in his pocket and tell Kelly "we're voting for (name the player), right?"

Worth a try and perhaps a bit more believable (see Fishback's reaction to Jeremy's idol handoff). What they actually did didn't work out at all...

Kelly's move would have been to make the fake idol and not tell Keith about it. Just hand it to him at tribal and get his natural reaction which probably gets Jeremy to flip on Spencer.

Only if he thought they were going to vote for him. Otherwise he still votes for Keith, and if the idol is real then he stuck to his alliance and Spencer is still on his side come voting time.

Even if they thought they were voting for him, Jeremy Voting for Spencer would have done nothing. He would need Tasha to Vote Spencer as well and this still wouldn't work cause Spencer couldn't vote for himself.

The best way for Keith/Kelly to have played the fake idol was for Kelly to have made it and not told Keith until she handed it to him AT Tribal Council. His reaction would have been completely genuine and Jeremy, Spencer and Tasha would have had no option but to vote for each other.
Especially since she smartly kept the note. Jeremy would ask "Is that real?" and Kelley would just have to say "Hand him the letter, Keith."
Great calls from both of you. Would have made the best two consecutive tribals in survivor history.

They let people like Kimmi and Abi hang around that long and then not bring them to the end? Why not align with them for the final three?

Were Spence and Tasha so delusional about their place in the game that they thought they could beat a player that won by getting every single vote?

But real HII's are never played that way. Jeremy has played 2 himself and would know it was fake if they reveal it before the vote.

Yeah, I thought Tasha and Spencer got real dumb at the end. By "the end" I mean the last three episodes.

As EYLive mentioned, handing it to Keith after the vote wouldn't do anything but make him look foolish trying to play it. Handing it to him before the vote would convince Jeremy (and the others) it wasn't real and they were trying to trick him into flopping on Spencer.

Obviously trying to use a fake idol is a desperation play but I'm pretty sure what I proposed had a better shot at working as opposed to Keith not doing anything with it.

Kelly could have said I'm voting for Jeremy, Keith you vote for Spencer. Tasha decide which of them goes home. Worth a shot in my opinion.

Could have been played up real well by Kelly.

Kelly - "Jeff, I've been holding this one since day 6 when I found it during a challenge. I'm safe tonight and so is Keith."

Shocked faces!

Kelly - "I'm voting for Jeremy and Keith is voting for Spencer. Tasha, you decide who goes home between the two."

Jeremy knows she had to find it during a challenge cause he found his during a challenge. If anyone asks if it's real. Kelly had the note for the idol as she kept it. Could they have called her bluff? Sure. But in a matter of 30 minutes or whatever from her reveal to the voting, they'd be crapping bricks right there. Would have made for a great tribal if Keith gets up, plays it and Jeff says, "this is not a hidden immunity idol" but one of Jeremy or Spencer did go home. All Kelly would have to do is get into the final 3 for the million after that move.

I still don't understand this thinking. The 3 just vote for Keith. If the Idol is real, then it's a tie and one of them go home on the re-vote decided by Tasha. I don't know why any of them would change their vote.

Because neither of them wanted to go home?

Kelly mentioned how the idol paranoia was real. She needed to play that up big time but she chose Keith to play it up. He wasn't going to after his almost volunteer vote off the night before. Maybe they call her bluff, maybe they don't but it is worth the effort just for the payoff.

I finally watched the final on dvr. Like many have said, great season. I really enjoyed it because of the contestants but also because for the first time, my son (9 yrs) enjoyed it and watched it with me. No more Nick at Night :X . I'll throw props to FBGs as well. Some of you are some funny f*ckers.

I didn't record the reunion. Did they preview a new season?
