Cardinals released WR Jemalle Cornelius, CB Marcus Brown, C Hercules Satele, and undrafted rookie DL Bryan Robinson.

Cowboys released FB Ronnie Cruz, CB Quincy Butler, QB Jeff Terrell, P Jay Ottovegio, and WR Daniel Polk.

Vikings release a bunch of nobodies.

Vikings released LB Derrick Pope, WR Daniel Davis, and OLs Sean Dumford and Brock Pasteur.Minnesota felt good enough about David Herron and Rufus Alexander's special teams work to give Pope the axe. The others were camp fodder.

Broncos released WR Samie Parker, DL Josh Mallard, and WR Lorne Sam.It's been a quick fall for Parker, who caught 41 balls for Kansas City as recently as 2006. He's only 27, but on the brink of falling out of the NFL. Aug. 25 - 4:01 pm etSource: Rocky Mountain News

Titans:

The Titans on Monday waived defensive tackle Barry Booker, tackle Brandon Torrey, receiver Chris Davis (Wake Forest) and linebacker Jorge Cordova (injured) in anticipation of Tuesday’s 75 player NFL roster limit.

The team will have to make one more move before the afternoon deadline tomorrow.

Before that time, the team is expected to place running back Rafael Little on the Active Physically Unable to Perform list.

Pope's loss probably means they keep both Rufus Alexander and Erin Henderson. Both of these guys are good on special teams (like Pope) but have potential to make an impact down the road on the defense (unlike Pope).

Jets Release Four Including RB M.Smith

Dave Hutchinson, Newark Star Ledger - [Full Article]

The Jets reduced their roster to 75 players by cutting RB Musa Smith, S Ron Girault, RB Rodney Kinlaw and OT Thaddeus Coleman.

Jaguars released WRs John Broussard, Clyde Edwards and Jeron Harvey and DL Alex Boston.

Broussard made four catches before landing on injured reserve last season and underwent ankle surgery in February. Also, the world needs more guys named Clyde.

Falcons move DT Trey Lewis to non-football injury reserve list and OL Renardo Foster to reserve PUP to get to the 75 man limit. Don't know how far back you want to go, but it's probably worth noting Joe Horn was released on 8/19.

Indianapolis Colts:

cut: RB Clifton Dawson, LB Marcus Richardson, P/K Adam Crossett

IR: CB TJ Rushing(#1 punt and kick returner), TE Zac Herold

Tampa Bay has officially reduced its roster by five players, with WR Paris Warren the most notable cut.

The other players released are:

LB Antoine Cash (injured) - neck

CB Sammy Davis (injured) - hip flexor

S Donte Nicholson (injured) - knee

Davis was placed on injured reserve, while Cash and Nicholson are “waive injured”, meaning if they clear waivers, they will be also be placed on injured reserve.

In addition, the Bucs have placed RB Cadillac Williams on the reserve physically unable to perform list. He is can not be activated in the first six weeks.

Warren’s cut does not come as a surprise. He was a standout last year before breaking his foot during the final preseason game. Warren attempted to comeback this year, but did not have the same speed he possessed before that injury.

The New England Patriots placed veteran offensive lineman Stephen Neal on the reserve/physically unable to perform list with a shoulder injury and placed veteran tackle Ryan O'Callaghan on the reserve/injured list with a shoulder injury today. Additionally, the team released fullback Kyle Eckel, cornerback Jason Webster and offensive lineman Ryan Wendell.

A little surprised about Webster. I thought he had a chance to stick around as a dime option.

The 49ers waived second-year DT Joe Cohen, first-year TE Cooper Wallace, rookie S Lewis Baker, rookie QB Kyle Wright and rookie G John Booker.

Thanks for all of the updates. Hopefully, I am getting them all into post 1. There will be plenty more coming the rest of this week.

Broncos released WR Samie Parker, DL Josh Mallard, and WR Lorne Sam.

The Panthers picked up and signed Samie Parker today. He'll be looked at for punt return duties with Ryne Robinson hurt and Jason Carter on IR.

Texans cuts: FB Jameel Cook, WR Tim Carter, G Mark Fenton.

WR Harry Williams and OL Scott Jackson were placed on IR.

CB Dunta Robinson was placed on PUP so will miss at least the first 6 weeks (no surprise there).

funny that browns, bungles and birds are slow with decisions.

Couple of things that aren't cuts but are of interest nonetheless:

Saints put Adrian Arrington on IR. Arrington was an early training camp eyecatcher and many people's idea of a super-deep sleeper at WR.

Panthers acquired Josh McCown from the Dolphins in return for a future, undisclosed draft pick (they are saying this is not related to Matt Moore's injury). Presumably this means Beck is safe?
