What a huge win for the Twins. Starting pitcher going out early....down early...Twins battle back thanks to another stellar performance by the pen.

This is going to be a war down to the wire. Twins at this point have a starting rotation of one stud, and a bunch of prayers....leaning on the batting of the starting 9 and a lights-out bullpen.

I should probably order some tickets right now for the season wrap-up at the dome worst ballpark in MLB

Big win for Minny sure. Hopefully what is needed to wake the sleeping Giant. I keep hoping something other than playing the Tigs or Skanks will. Go Sox

The Sox are a great team, but as a Minny homer, I love the underdog twins. I keep thinking they will fall apart, but they just keep playing hard

While the White Sox worry about the Tigers, and vice versa - the Twins will take the division.

Not much you can say when you get your tukus kicked. Two solid games by the Twins.

Buerhle came up huge today as the stopper

But for some reason the White Sox continue to struggle with the Twinkies. This game would have been huge if they would have won that game last night, but instead they couldnt pick up any ground on them, rather losing a half game. Should be interesting down the stretch, especially considering Liriano is on his way back.

I think they are just going to use Liriano in the bullpen. For the gambling types, just picked me up some White Sox at +800 to win the division. Hey, you never know.

Buerhle was big today.

I got the Tigers at +2000 to win division and Twins at +700 also. Just want to lock in some nice profit.

Casey Fossum on the road may be the easiest bet anybody could ever make.
Not if Freddy Garcia is on the mound. Freddy, make sure to thank the guys in the dugout for the 7 spot. You've really held up your end of the bargain tonight.

Thank you Mark RedmanFinal from Minnesota, Royals 2 - Twins 0Tied for the WC lead!!!!
Just to play devil's advocate, don't you still have to win your game?
Ummm, no. Until this game is final, we are tied for the WC lead
Ummm, I realize that. Gotta love making that kind of declaration when you're still in the middle of a game though  (P.S. I won't be around for the "I told you so" post so don't bother)

Never been to the dome, but U.S Celluar can't be far behind in worst ballparks category. Was there for the first time on Sat Night. Sat up high, so maybe that had something to do with it, but I sit up high at Citizens Bank Ballpark and enjoy it. Biggest problem is parking, Had to take a shuttle bus just to get back and forth between parking lot and Stadium(long distance), and then the fight to get out of that parking lot after the game seemed like too much effort to see a ball game. Other problems...1. Couldn't see around the league scores from my seats

2. Couldn't see type of pitch or pitch speed on scoreboard, but somehow got the pitch count

3. No replays

4. Pillars in upper deck, no stadium built after 1990 should have poles restricting your view.

And im sure there are other problems im not thinking of now. Seems like this stadium was built in an awkward era before the new stadiums we are seeing like Citizens Bank, and PNC Bank. Stadiums now have a more intimate feeling and I'm sure U.S Celluar looked good at the time compared to junky stadiums like the Vet, and other football/baseball stadiums, but now it already seems outdated and Chicago won't be getting a new stadium anytime soon which is unfortunate for Sox fans because they really impressed me with their enthuasisam during the game.

You'll never catch me defending the upper deck at US Cell. Its terrible. And although those pillars are a pain in the ### and create some obstructed views, they honsetly make the ball park look 100X better than it did when it was originally built. The lower bowl at the park is fantastic. Great view no matter where you are, and the ballpark has a ton of stuff to offer in terms of food, drink, entertainment for kids.
