O'Henry you BUM! (1 Viewer)

had a target in the end zone and tried to argue for a PI call when it was incomplete

That's rough.

TJ stoked me out with 22 tonight.

A win for me this week will guarantee the #2 pick

in the 2007 rookie draft.

Henry only had a few targets all night. He dropped 2 easy balls and the pass in the end zone was uncatchable. He still argued for a pass interference call.

I sat him for Chambers.

Watch Chambers will go off for 150 and 2 TDs this Sunday........ :banned: :banned:

Kindly

His TD last week was on the alley oop to the same corner. He was right to argue the PI, but it was probably uncatchable. Henry's value is deep balls with his speed and red zone jump balls with his height. He is terrified of contact so don't expect much from him in a field possession game.

He is terrified of contact
:link: Seriously, I am not seeing this from the 3 bengals games I've seen this year...
Which routes do you remember him having success with? He'll catch a ball when he has space, but if there's a threat of getting hit, he drops it more times than not. IMO that fits well with his gun-waving arrest in South Beach - inadequacy issues. His routes are designed to take advantage of his strengths (height and speed), and hide his weaknesses (fear of contact, pot).

starting a 3rd WR in a game with a 90% chance of rain and terrible field conditions and you have to realize this very well could happen

Agreed. I sat him in my league for those reasons even though he had had three good fantasy games against the Ravens the past two seasons. In his defense, he's had a helluva season so far. It sucks for the owners who started him that he had a dog of a game tonight but that's been the exception and not the norm for him. It'll be interesting to see what he can do against a good Oakland pass defense next week.

When you rely on a WR who doesn't even start :ptts:
So in my 16 team start 3 WR I should have sat Henry, #40 WR in pts. ytd, and started a scrub? In hindsight, yes - beforehand, no.

Not to mention he had three productive fantasy games against the Ravens in as many matchups. There was nothing that should have led people to sit Henry if they had been starting him - unless they thought the weather would be an issue. That's the only reason why I sat him. As it turned out, the weather wasn't a factor at all and Henry just wasn't involved. But I don't think someone can be criticized for starting a player who's been more productive in recent weeks than a lot of starting WRs.
