Just trying to figure out who takes and keeps the WLB for the Lions. Follett or Dizon?? Any input or insight would be appreciated it.

Dizon will be given first crack.
The Lions are very fortunate they landed Suh. If not, teams would have consistently ran up the middle against the smallish front 7 of the Lions (namely, Corey Williams, Levy, Dizon, etc).

Dizon should definitely play on passing downs and it's basically a wide open competition on first and second downs between Follett and Dizon. They could bring someone else in as well.

Pretty sure I read somewhere after the draft that Cunningham brought Follett in after the Sims trade and more or less told him he was the favorite to start. I agree with Tony, though, that Dizon would have to be the favorite to play in the nickel given last year's breakdown in snaps.

FYI, looks like Follett is getting first-team reps in OTAs. No mention of Dizon.
