Olive Garden - Unlimited Pasta/Salad for 7 weeks for $100 (1 Viewer)

While I didn't snag a trip to Italy, I am now the owner of, not one, but two pasta passes. One of my boys really wanted one too so I was working with multiple browsers.

Didn't want a pasta pass, but tried for the trip.

For next year, in case I want to try for the pasta, any tips? Did you just wait until 0 and click when the button lit up? Did you start clicking furiously before it hit 0? You appear to be an expert at "winning" these :)

No, I didn't hammer the button until it turned to "buy". That may make me the idiot though given the trips to Italy were gone before the button even lit up I think. Lol. I had two queued up to buy last year, but let one go and enjoyed the one. This year it will be fun to bring my boy along at times.

I've gotta think it's impossible to get the trip by hitting the button. It would be incredibly easy (for someone a little smarter than me) to create a program to hit it at 2:00.00000001 and beat all the humans to the punch. I guess if you hit the pasta button in the first half-second or so, it was pretty do-able.

Enjoy the pass!

Got bupkis this time, but I did notice the countdown clock on my work PC (ethernet) was about 40 seconds faster than my work laptop (WI-FI). So, if you had a wired connection to the internet, you had way better luck due to latency.

I may have had a better shot if I remembered to turn off the ad-blocker that disabled the javascript box from popping up after I clicked "Buy."  :wall:

Those of you who tried for the pass: was it just about the value of food you're getting, or is Olive Garden a place you frequent anyway?

Had the pasta pass the first year they came out. The pasta got old after the first couple weeks (though the awesome breadsticks never did). I got so sick of it by the end, I haven't stepped foot in an Olive Garden since.

Welp, I've had a pass the last three years I think (two for sure). The site said "sold out" almost immediately. In previous years it took many minutes for the site to show sold out - I"m calling shennanigans. Ticketmasteresque. Bummer.
