You know, I still marvel at this situation. All three have their merits sure but isnt a number one overall pick supposed to give you the surest production at a high level? Sure you see Portis climbing on potential alone but anyone taking him #1 overall?

I cant imagine passing up on a sure Top-3 producer like LaDanian or Alexander in favor of the upstart LJ, who has the potential and the situation to possibly end up #1 but easily could see himself fall out of the top-5. Why not take Shaun or LT who have the roof of producing the best among fantasy RB's and with a (current) floor of a 3rd overall RB finish?

Seriously blows my mind.

I had them ranked from the start as LT - SA-LJ for the reasons you mention. Then I found out I actually had the 1st pick and started questioning myself because it seemed everywhere I looked, or read, LJ was #1 After the Thurs night game it seemed to change a bit away from LJ. But I guess in the end we all went with our 1st instincts. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
