Neon Piss broke in up '15 or so, but that's who I'd recommend. Golden State Advantage was a sick song. 

Red Dons also. They're still loosely together. I'll post links if you'd like.

Hard to give one answer. You see some stuff in hospitals.

1. best stories are the inevitable guy comes in on a Friday night needing something extracted from his bum. I have seen Barbie dolls, toy trucks, light bulbs, shampoo bottles, etc. and, as Kramer says, it's always a million to one shot.

2. A logger working green chain came in with his right arm completely degloved from his elbow down. Skin completely stripped off, down to muscle and tendon. Particularly gruesome.

3. Eyeball surgery. I am about the least squeamish person I know, but I used to hate scrubbing/assisting in eyeball surgery. The idea of being awake and watching a scalpel come toward my eye makes me queasy.

Man, good question. Domestically, i have not been to the Grand Canyon or Yosemite. Also, would like to check out some of the hiking and camping in Utah- only driven through, but it looks gorgeous.

internationally? I promised my boys a trip to Europe sometime, when the youngest is old enough to appreciate it. But my list inculdes a lot of Asian destinations. Nepal, China, Vietnam, Thailand. A tour of South America, too.

what's the best trip you ever took? And why?

Grateful Dead at the Philadelphia Spectrum in '87-88. First ever Dead show, got me hooked.

'88 Monsters of Rock, in Oakland? one of the opening acts was some band none of us had heard of called Metallica. They did their Master of Puppets set and completely destroyed the crowd. Craziest mosh pit I have ever been part of. Some other decent bands there, too. I remember the Scorpions were really good live.

'88 another Dead show. Laguna Seca. Los Lobos and Bruce Hornsby. Unbelievable day. There's an entire short story in that concert.

Coincidentally, I just found out what this means this week.  I work in hospital IT and a co-worker is a former ER nurse.  He was talking about a patient who once came in and had their finger "degloved".  I had to ask what it meant.  My stomach got uneasy just hearing about that.  A whole arm?  That's horrifying.  I have nothing but respect for the people like you guys who can deal with that sort of stuff.
