really sorry if anything related has been posted. first off we start 9 d players so the pool is a tad shallow. anyways, my current players are:

keith bulluck

adrian wilson

gibril wilson

mike brown

michael boulware

ray lewis

andra davis

karlos dansby

kirk morrison (pick up and dropped danny clark)

odell thurman

tedy bruschi

sean jones (picked up and dropped brodney pool)

are all these players worth a spot or are there potential gems thaat could unseat them? i keep hearing thomas howard. any advice would be grateful.

Bullock, Wilson,Wilson,Boulware,Lewis,Davis, Morrison are locks to stay on your team. Brown is battling another achilles injury (same as before) and has missed 16 games the past two years. Dansby has been in the doghouse with a thumb and now a mysterious toe injury that some speculate can be career ending but yet is not serious enough for surgery. Bruscji is either in roid breakdown or just on a bad run of luck but when he is in there, he drives that defense and should yours. Jones is holding the spot and I believe that eventually he will be able to secure one with Pool while Russell gets moved to reserve status. Thurman...BUYER beware, this bad #### from Georgia is out the first four games and is one more mistake away from a year long suspension.Flying below the radar a bit look at Bart Scott as the WLB in BALT and Angelo Crowell at WLB in BUFF, Roman Harper in NO at S and Danial Bullocks in DET at S.Tom

i don't have anything specific for that list of players you listed but i will say that i have decided to fill my DB position before my LB position this year.

our league plays:

1 DB

2 LB/DL

I sort of feel that I HAVE TO HAVE either Troy Pomalumawhosyourmomma, Adrian Wilson, or Gibril Wilson who are the top tier of my list whereas the LB's top tier is a solid 10+ deep.

I'd advise you against that strategy. LB'rs tend to be more consistent, even on a year to year basis. It's not uncommon to see a DB explode and then disappear the following season (Ed Reed in '05). It's also relatively common to see an undrafted DB finish top 10 at the position. I'd much rather go to battle with proven performers like Bullock, Vilma, Peterson manning the point producing LB slot over a top DB any day.We had a guy in my oldest IDP league try the very same strategy you're referring to about 5 years ago. He waited out the LB run and instead drafted Rodney Harrison, Pat Tillman and Lawyer Milloy. It tunred out to be a disastrous move. Only Harrison produced typical numbers and he missed time with injury too.

Are there position minimums/limits? Are LB's separate from DL?

it's yahoo. dl consists of the line and line backers.

just a bump, i now have added ej henderson, roman harper and gerlad hayes thanks to the great posting in this forum. i dumped sean jones and bruschi. i have thurman, dansby harper and hayes on the bench, the rest are starting. is bullocks a better safety than harper? i see harper is listed as bench on ourlads.

Bullocks is FS and Harper SS, so Harper should be the better fantasy scorer. Harper is the starting SS last I heard. Keep your eye on Sean Jones and Pool. Russell has got to be phased out this year and both these guys should score well.

:goodposting: Ourlads is often behind. And don't fuss over dropping Bruschi much. Henderson and Hayes may well finish in the same tier this season and it's not :loco: to think they'll be better, especially with the wrist issue.

Ignore Ourlads - they are slow a lot. Harper is the starting SS on what is likely the worst D in the NFL - the Saints. And as a bonus their LB's are not good. Harper is very likely a guy who everyone will be saying "Who?" about very soon.

ok, i see alot of love for ruud in tb, he's available. is he worth a spot more than any of teh other players? and is harper worth starting over mike brown or boulware at DB?

I'd start a healthy Harper over Brown who is dinged.

Ruud is starting this week, he's the future, but it may not be this year.
