Packer - Titans Preseason (1 Viewer)

General recap

1st play, Rodgers to Jennings, 60 yard TD

That was it for the offensive starters

Brohm ran a couple a set, no score

Flynn is now in, managed to fumble the ball

 
Packers 2nd D line has been putting serious pressure on Titans

Titans are running their first string through the 3rd quartyer

Titans have had two field goals

Young has had two good runs, one good pass (50 yards to mccairens)

 
nice fake punt by Titans, 50 yard run - direct snap to fuller

And the titans get a td and are up by 6 (13-7

Brohm back in - and it's another fumble!

Yes, Rogers will be ok, but man, Brohm and Flynn are the not ready for prime time players

Rodgers had one fine play - hard to judge his performance. Based on the preseason, he should be above average, in particular because of the team around him. I would think a finish between 10 and 15 should be doable. Offensive line is too iffy right now for me to predict betterYoung has been hot and cold. Some nice passes, couple of good runs, but they have not scored any td's on offense (other than a fake punt). I would expect what we saw last yeaer
 
Packers offense pretty much sucks after that first play with the starters. Punt, Punt, fumble, fumble, Punt again.

D has been good for Pack - except they keep giving up the big play

Tennessee, considering they are going against the 2 team, has looked only average

Looks like the GB starting offense is solid, but there is a lack of depth, at least at QB. This team will rise and fall with Rodgers this year. I own Rodgers as my #2 QB and hope he comes out, plays well, and stays healthy.

Have to agree. This team will go no where without rodgers
 
Am I the only one who thinks Rodgers has been the most impressive player this preseason. And I don't want to hear flack from someone who hasn't seen every Packer game this offseason. He has been accurate and has a Favre-like cannon. Amazing considering the amount of pressure that has been on him.

I know it is only preseason, but you got to be able to do it in preseason to do it in the regular season.

As a Packer fan of over 40 years, no. Let me put that another way. HELL NO.Put the crack pipe down and step away.Rodgers has been ok in 2 games, bad in 1, and then today one great play, but hard to judge after that. Good enough to give me confidence the Pack can win the division (but mostly because the rest of the teams suck)

He played great versus Cincy. What was his "bad" game?

Did you see the SF game? 9 of 16, 58 yards passing? Held the ball way to long? Sacked all day and night? Sure there were a couple of drops, but that was not a good game for Rodgers
 
well, this game is done I think. KC was just intercepted.

Overall, nothing worthy to note on the Packers as starters only played one play. Well, except Brohm and Flynn still SUCK.

For Tenn - hard to give a grade as they played against 2nd stringers.

Having said that, Flynn just threw a nice pass to Swain. Having said that, both will be cut.

There weren't many, if any, bright spots from the entire Packer team that night.Rodgers has looked good this preseason. He completed 68.5% of his passes which is a good sign, but those 7 sacks leave me uneasy.
 
lol, Ryan just took a punt fake 35 yards for a 1st

That guys is seriously fast

He also has punted very well - 51 yard average, big hang times.

Because he's QB #3. No team only carries 2.I've been more impressed with Flynn than Brohm (considering he was taken in the 7th round). The only way Flynn gets cut is if they sign another QB to take his spot.

How hard is it to understand that Flynn has been coming on in training camp and is pushing Brohm to be the #2 QB in Green Bay.Why don't you tell us why you think they will cut Flynn. Anyone that knows anything about the Packers know the Packers are not going to cut Flynn.
