Packers vs Titans (1 Viewer)

be nice to see hard-nosed Mike McCarthy and his commitment to the run actually run the ball once in a while

5 of 6 plays have been passes so far

For those aboard the James Jones wagon, he was targeted 3 times on the first drive. One catch was a good 2-3 feet in front of him, and he made a great grab reaching out for the ball. The last target he made a rookie mistake, stopping his route early (must not be used to the strong armed Favre quite yet).

Jennings has also had a couple of nice plays.

shotgun in the redzone????

might be part of the reason they were 31st in TD percentage last year.. they passed the ball too much inside the 20.

I think J.Jones will be a very good player this year on GB..Had the 1st pick in one of my leagues (LT ;) ) and took James Jones as the last pick 18.12

Wynn with another dropped pass. He may be finding his way to the practice squad after tonight. The only thing that might save him is Morency and Jackson being a little banged up, but I've heard they are both doing better and should be OK for week 1.

 perhaps Corey White too

Arrg... I'd like to see Crosby get the job. That 52 yarder would have been nice.
yeah. me too.it looked like he barely swung his leg. i thought it was a chipshot! i think they'll wind up keeping him anways. i heard Rayner on tv the other day saying he felt the both had strong kickoff legs.. but i remember Rayner kicking the ball to the 10-15 consistently.

Get used to it.I keep telling anyone who'll listen, McCarthy will talk all day about the run, but his 'go-to' is the passing game. All his good years as OC in NO were passing heavy teams. Always reminded me of the early Holmgren offenses, though not quite as dynamic. You'll see more of the run game once the season starts, but not much.

i fully expect 60/40it just irritates me that he, and the media, continue to talk about how he loves the run.

Used to bug me as well. Now I just skip those articles.I fully expect 75/25

No touches for Chris Brown yet...You have to think LenDale is the guy, right?
well............ most teams don't play their starters much if at all in the last pre-season game but Fisher said he was going to play his starters in to the 3rd quarter:shrug:

Yeah, I know. For most teams in week four, this would be a bad sign for White's chances...But if we see some Chris Brown in quarter three and four, then I'd say early congratulations to people that nabbed White late in drafts...
