I'm trying to move McNabb in a keeper league and someone mentioned that Palmer had struggles this year due to his knee. I hadn't heard that, is it true?

He HAD struggles early on I suppose but he sure seems fine lately.

during last weeks game, his coaches felt his knee was fine enough to call a designed QB draw on 3rd and goal. It didn't work, but if they called it and he was fine with the play, I'd assume his knee is fine.

Palmers knee is fine.

He has had some issues with steping forward into his throws that he has corrected. Main reason he wasn't doing it before is because the Bengals have been playing most of the season without thier starting Center and allpro LT Levi Jones.

Both linemen are still out but close to being healthy a day by day type situation that keeps lingering. The Oline replacements have more experience now and better synergy with the rest of the Oline now than they did earlier in the season. So that has helped Palmer to have more confidence in them and knowing how long he can expect them to hold thier blocks on most of thier plays now.

Since the change.. Palmer correcting his technique and stepping into his throws again like he should his accuracy has improved and Chad Johnson has come back strong again.

Keep in mind that all of the Bengals Wrs have missed time during the season due to injury or suspension. But they are all back and healthy now and the Bengals offense is playing a lot better football the past few weeks because of all these things. If they get back thier starting linemen soon that will be another boost for them moving forward.

I was hoping RB Chris Perry could stay healthy as he is a key player in converting 3rd downs, thus sustaining drives. Maybe Carson will remember that TEs are eligible receivers that can be used for short passes to convert 3rd downs as well....
