Panthers at Chargers (1 Viewer)

Nice play by Rivers fumbles it over to Carolina....and an even better camera shot of Norv with the "dead man walking" face

From rotoworld:

Ryan Mathews exited Sunday's game with a second-quarter shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

Per beat writer Michael Gehlken, Mathews' return is questionable. Expected to be San Diego's every-snap back Sunday with Ronnie Brown inactive, Mathews racked up seven touches early, gaining 30 yards before the injury. The Bolts now figure to turn to Jackie Battle and Curtis Brinkley at tailback.

I've been forced to roll with Mathews all year long in 2 leagues and made it to the semifinals in spite of him....started him this week hoping that he might be able to rack up some receiving yardage off 3rd down touches. So much for that.

After the way it's gone with him this year, he's on my do not draft list. Never again.

Ryan Mathews is the biggest sissy to ever play in the NFL. The guy never fails to disappoint when his team needs him step up. The Chargers should drop him, and he shouldn't make it past the practice squad on any team.

I don't think I remember a quarterback who fumbled on such a high proportion of his sacks. Maybe Daunte Culpepper . . .

So what can the new gm get for Rivers next year? Why would a new established coach take the job with such a whiney choke artist?

Sadly, this matters for me - who gets the touches next week, Battle, Brown, or Brinkley? Brinkley was in the game at the end in garbage time... Anybody have any insight?
