Panthers at Falcons (1 Viewer)

Damn, close to a fumble recovery. That's two this game that would have bounced to Falcons in the first three games. Doesn't take much to turn the tables on the lucky bounces.

Smith wasted 10 seconds by not using his timeouts on the front side of the 2 minute warning. We'll see if that ends up making a difference.

completely obvious that its correct to go for it here, gonna be LOL when announcers, all media members, and most importantly Carolina coaching staff thinks its better to punt

they should go for it...chances of cam getting you a yard or 2 is better than the odds of your D stopping atlanta from getting a fg

Houdini like escape. Better to fix problems after a win than loss but no doubt problems were shown today. Most sacks Ryan has ever taken, some was his fault trying too hard to make a play so he takes blame too.

Typical Panthers. They can't close anything out and have shown absolutely no improvement in any area of the game since last season.

The coaching has actually been much worse.

I think Rivera may be a two and done coach after this season, and the teams that looked at Chudzinski for a head coaching job were right to pass on him.

The team DID look a lot better today overall, but that's the Panthers style of the past 5+ seasons. They will trick you into thinking that they are turning a corner, but they play up (or down) to their competition, and rarely play good enough to close out a close game. A big win today would have gone a long way into giving the team some much needed confidence, but following the loss, I think Carolina will be lucky to get 6 wins this season.
