With B. Meriweather seemingly entrenched in the SS spot and B. McGowan and J. Sanders battling it out a FS, where does that leave P. Chung? Is he just sitting on bench getting some NFL grooming for a year with anticipation of starting next year? Or is he looking like a career backup/ role player?

Pats have a good set of safeties. What are the chances Chung becomes the impact player many expect him to be?

I think there's a chance he's a bit overrated. Not sure if it's a guarantee he'll be in the position to make all the tackles at safety, and he's being drafted that way.

Rotoworld (Via the Boston Globe) reported today that James Sanders is the favorite to start @ SS & Meriwether is set @ FS....McGowans' snaps are expected to "dwindle" but Chung isn't "starting" yet in their opinion.
