In practice last night, the starting defense is what you would expect, except that Banta-Cain was one of the LB's. Also, Rodney Bailey was in there as Ty Warren and mcGinest were on the sidelines for the practice.

Worth watching for depth purposes.

Dont read anything into this with the Patriots. They rotate frequently so they have depth at all positions.

Banta-Cain was most likely taking McGinest's spot with the first team, and Bailey was taking Warren's spot. I wouldn't read anything into this.

Right, but should one go down with an injury, the replacement might be worthy of starting - that's all I'm reading into this. My understanding was that Chatham was above Banta-Cain on the depth chart.Depth is nice!

That's what she said. :P Anyway, Bunta Cain is worth keeping an eye on if someone else gets hurt. The great thing about the Patriots is they don't get too many players "wrong".
