Patriots O-linemen dirty (1 Viewer)

I had the opportunity to watch the Pats/Skins game yesterday with a college official. He noted that the Patriots O-line was leg whipping and the move was not being called. Now, I am not good at spotting leg whips in the pile ups, but I did clearly see Logan mankins use a leg whip to take out Phillip Daniels on a Wes Welker 3rd down catch. Not surprisingly the violation was not called and I saw Phillip Daniels getting up with a limp. When is being dirty going to stop. Enough already!

Syrus punches Logan Mankins in the mouth. Official thread.

What the hell is going on around here  ....why is when a city has a GREAT team all the other fans find ANYTHING they can to disdredit the GREAT team in question. If it was YOUR city`s team that was doing this GREAT you would never be talking trash and dissin` your team...jealousy is UGLY and soooo obvious.

thats all

This quote needs to be pinned on the top of the Shark Pool. Or what used to be called the Shark Pool.

Wow. Sounds like the guy you watched the game with should be working Sundays. I mean, if he saw those dirty plays sitting next to you watching tv, probably drinking some beers, imagine if he were actually on the field? Ed Hoculi has nothing on your buddy! Well, maybe the arms-thing.

PS - go get Big Daddy Kane, would ya? Someone needs to punch NE in the mouth!

In fairness, most other teams haven't been recently sanctioned by the league for playing dirty.

sigh

LOL at all the Patriots envy...I hope they kick the #### out of every team in their path...and I'm not a Patriots fan.

Do people hate the Pats that much?

I'm a Charger fan, we got smacked, now move on......

Now when it comes to the Colts....... :stalker:

:endmanningfamilyrant:

Man, I'm not a Pats fan by any means, and I don't necessarily agree with EVERYTHING they've done, but this is getting out of hand.

I fully expect to come in to the Shark Pool one day to find this thread:

BELICHICK DOESN'T RECYCLE!

Report: Pats most "eco-unfriendly" team.

lolI don't remember this kind of hate for a dominant team since the 90s Cowboys. And that was because of the impression of Cowboy player behavior off the field. For the Patriots, it seems to be all in-game stuff (apart from the hyper-sensitive fans) like the cheating.

That was funny. It caught me off guard. :loco:

Lets keep this going. Patriots, led by Coach Bill Belichick, have been openly running with scissors tearing the do not remove tag off ordinary house pillows and littering. Classless, will it ever end?

Can we get a few more Pats threads please. I want to know what they eat, what they like to do with their free time, boxers/briefs,....can't get enough...

Ever see that South Park episode when all the little kids jumped in the pool with Cartman in it and the blue water instantly turned to yellow?? That is all that these griping Pats threads achieve..push all the relevant posts onto the back pages and urinate this place with useless drivel.

But please I beg of you...keep them coming and further destroy this heavenly shrine we have built...

You were spot on with this call, and I am a NE fan. If people are going to crush you in the other thread for being wrong, they ought to give you credit in this one for being right.

I'm here to give you credit as I think ahead to our Week 11 opponent, the Buffalo Bills. BTW, thanks for not turning the temp up over 100 deg. this time.

I notice that with all the accusations of hatred for the Patriots (no doubt true) and that the OP is jealous of the Patriots success (again no doubt true) there is no one responding to the actual claim. Of course, we all saw on TV the one leg trip move. Now, I admit I know little about this subject. I've heard accusations made against the Bronco linemen in the past over this issue. Is it prevalent in the league? Did anyone notice the Pats doing this while other teams don't? Are the Pats a dirtier team than most?

Since the Pats were caught cheating, and since they are the best team in football right now and perhaps in NFL history, I thin it's legitimate to at least explore these issues. Yes, I am a Pats hater myself, so take that as you will. But I have no idea abour the truth of this issue and I would like to know more...

It's no more legitimate to assume this accusation than any other unproven one, though.

If there's proof, that's fine. If not...then ####.

So, where are the pictures here?

 Matt Light was called for a blatant leg whip during yesterday's game. Not sure what you're spouting off about. There was an unbelievable amount of holding in general that wasn't called in that game too. From both sides. But Matt Light was definitely getting beaten by Freeney all over the place and had to resort to holding him on about half the plays. Funny how certain crews call some penalties while completely ignoring others. The LT from Indy held quite a bit too.

Mhmm, Seymour couldn't break through him and its because he had Seymour wrapped up the whole time. Pretty ridiculous officiating in that game overall. Bunch of ??? calls and then a bunch of missed calls.
