Hey guys...I went to Pats training camp and thought I'd report some general observations:
Brady looks like Brady. Throws were crisp.
Welker seems to have the elusiveness he lacked last year, two years off his torn ACL. He abused Leigh Bodden on one play.
Ocho was working on building a rapport with Brady. When they did 7 on 7 drills, Ocho was only in for a bit, but was talking with other WRs like Brandon Tate on the sidelines and watching intently.
Gronkowski is a favorite of Brady. He got much more attention then Aaron Hernandez did. Take it for what you will.
Defensively, Haynesworth actually blew up a play and got in the backfield in lightning quick speed, but then got completely stuffed the next play.
Jerod Mayo was lining up at outside linebacker, while Brandon Spikes was in the middle of a 4-3.
I will report more when I go back. Any questions, let me know.
