he said he would be at a computer in a little bit .. maybe we can string a few picks together ...
I am around to draft until about 1 am. I will update my draft reviews of 4-8 tomorrow.peace

Physical therapy in am, and doctor's appt in afternoon. Will check in between appts, but wont be around as much today.

Seeing that Campbell is off the board, that leaves me with

9.11 BULGER,

who appears to be the only starting QB left, at least for the games where he is healthy enough to play. pmg next

I'll roll the dice a little bit with my #4RB selection, mostly because I think there's a good chance he'll be starting for the Cards.

9.14 - Donald Brown

OK this seriously has to stop. The first time you edited a post with your picks, it was wrong. You got caught editing it and changed your pick. Even though you don't seem to think there's anything wrong with that, and I disagree, you're namedropping another player you seriously considered at the pick. I understand that the second time is supposed to be a joke. But you're breaking a longstanding rule. You can't edit the post with your picks in it. The commissioner has come in here and told you not to do it. If you want to make a change after you made your pick, quote your pick and make the change.

Seems that I missed out on the editing by LHUCKS. Bostonfred, I'm not quite sure what to think about your new avatar.

Whoa...there big fella.A) I didn't edt my pick, I edited the commentary regarding Brown landing with the Cards.B) It's okay to change your pick per the rules (not to mention when I did it, you weren't even in the forum...and proceeded to timeout)It's obviously very important to some of you that I don't change the pick, so I wont do that again...but editing my post...sheesh. This is supposed to be fun right?

A) Go ahead and make commentary in a second post if you don't get it in the first post. Or put it in the commentary thread. Doing it in a post where you make your pick means that you could be editing your pick. Which brings us toB) No, it's not OK per the rules. The commissioner already came into the thread and told you seriously that it was not OK.

Is this true?I was always under the impression that it was like a Chess move - Done. And NO editing of posts...I've wanted to change picks in the past but, never wanted to be "that guy".

12.2 Pitt D

Bunch of marginal crap on the board that will look the same in a couple of rounds. Might as well take a difference maker. Actually rolled solo with Pitt D last year and it worked out fine. Like leaving myself the flexibility to do that again or to take three defenses and send people scrambling.

In the previous thread, the Commish stated: No joke. Please stop editting/changing your pick posts Lhucks.

I don't recall seeing a discussion thereafter between LHUCKS and the Commish that warranted the Commish to retract his request for picks not to be edited.

In my research of the rules, I cannot find anything definitive that addresses editing of picks. I have seen this addressed in individual drafts but nowhere else. Maybe someone else can find a rule that is on point.

A definitive rule should be implemented and posted in the pinned rules after the PDSLs are over, before the next draft begins, given that the situation is likley to recur.

In the interim, the Commish has requested that we not edit our picks. That's a reasonable request that, among other things, helps prevent confusion and undue delays.

The Commish did not simply ask LHUCKS only not to edit his picks. He requested LHUCKS not to edit his "pick posts." I interpret the addition of the word "post" to include anything that is in the post where the pick is made, including spelling or anything else. Is my interpretation unreasonable?

Joke or continue the sarcasm if it makes you feel better, but it isn't entertaining.

P. Rivers

Roethlisberger

M. Barber

L. Washington

D. Sproles

Ca. Johnson

L. Moore

J. Galloway

C. Cooley

Pittsburgh

I really like this team with the exception of the Galloway pick. Rivers was a gift where you got him.

I don't like the RB or the WR depth...both of which are very important. This is a C- Grade IMHO.

Hate doubling up on Chiefs, but I'd like to have Larry Johnson's backup and/or frontup if something happens.
