Tab Perry - WR - Cincy

Trying for the Chris henry replacement
:hot:  Was hoping he'd sneak back....
Well we are talking about WR101 here, not sure how much he'll contribute. I wanted Burleson to be honest but that would have given me 3 wr's with byes on week8. I do like the potential upside.
Yes but with me already having Chris Henry it was a natural fit.
ah yes very true

A couple of bears... well, one current and one former.

19.16 Mark Bradley, WR CHI

20.1 Justin Gage, WR TEN >>> Young's top target.

PMd Pasquino that I wanted Stovall or Bradley here...so much for that. :goodposting:

20.02 - Sinorice Moss

supposed to be the #3 but I've never really had much faith in the kid.

You're kidding, right? He was taken in the THIRTEENTH ROUND. Please try again.

Wait a minute - does LHUCKS have only 6 WRs? AND 6 RBs? This is a first.
Well, everybody goes so early and deep on WRs(because they've copied my strategy) that now you have to counter by going to other positions. It doesn't make a lot of sense to draft a WR#4 because the odds of them actually contributing are slim to none IMHO...Michael Robinson will get on the board for me much more than any other available WR IMHO.Also, this is a unique positional draft for me because I went Antonio Gates in the first round.KitnaDelhommeMaroneyK. I have a handful of WRs who COULD step up and deliver, and that's what you really need here.

(Yes I'm going WR and 1 K - that's what I'm willing to do with 3 QBs).

I'll drop a few names after 20.16, but here's my attempt at the "next possible Colston".

20.09 Travis Wilson, CLE

20.12 Marcel Shipp RB Ari

please draft joe thomas

been fun fellas

thanks again to the sniffer and twillight for all the hard work

i want to add that this was the smoothest draft i can remember doing here. everyone went out of their way to keep things moving. props to us woot :lmao:

Torn here and headed out for and appointment and then to the game. Will pick late tonite. In the interim not hold anyone up I'll take....

Peyton Manning

in otherwords, roll on and I'll select later.

Even though my team probably could use a little help elsewhere . . .

20.15 David Martin, TE, MIA

I am really surprised at how little love he's gotten in the PDSL leagues. Consider that:

- McMichael averaged 65 receptions per year the past 3 years

- Dolphins TEs overall averaged 78 receptions the past 3 years

- The Dolphins signed Martin and then cut McMichael

- At the moment, Martin is slated to be the Fins starting TE (unless they sign a free agent (who's left?) or plan on starting a rookie)

- Jermaine Wiggins had 71 receptions in his one year with Culpepper (if he's the starter)

- Tony Gonzalez averaged 77 receptions per year over 5 years when Trent Green was healthy (if he's the starter)

- The Chargers TEs averaged 77 receptions per year with Cameron as OC and developed Antonio Gates from virtual obscurity

- Martin is 6'4", 265 and Gates is 6'4", 260

Now, I don't for a second believe that Martin is anywhere near as talented as Gates, nor do I believe that Martin is a stud in the making. Yes, he's been banged up and has a limited track record. But he's got decent hands and it's 2 points per reception in this league. If he can get 30 receptions, that's the same as 60 receptions for a WR. Of all the WRs that have been going the past few rounds, how many of them have a decent chance to get 60 receptions? 'Cause if he DOESN'T get 30-40 receptions, we have grossly underestimated the Miami WR corps . . .

So I ask, given all that, are there really 32 better TEs and almost 320 better fantasy options out there?

20.14 Zach Miller

PAC10 = speed

Was debating between him, Martin, and King. I think he offers more upside in this format since he can stretch the field.
