Example:

Me: WE ARE OUT OF ICE.  COULD YOU PLEASE PICK SOME UP ON YOUR WAY HOME? THANK YOU!
SO: Its not like I used all the ice but sure I will pick up some. Chill out

SWC is the best shtick.  If your SO is really laid back it might be tricky to pull off.   Try it again next time she asks you a question and report back.
