Perine for Rudolph, 2018 second, 2019 second (1 Viewer)

12 team ppr Dyno.  Start only one rb league (can flex another for a Max of two).  Which side do you like here.  I am on the higher end of the spectrum regarding my feelings for Perine, but I am wondering if this is a bit too.much value to pass up on.  In case it matters, my prediction is the seconds will be middling.  Thanks for your insights as I debate what to do here.

That is an excellent deal in my opinion. I have Rudolph ahead of Perine by himself. I think Perine is no lock to win the starting job, I'd say its like 52-48 odds. Where, as long as he stays healthy, its almost impossible for Rudolph to not be a top-10 TE in my eyes, both his OC and QB love short, safe passes in the middle of the field. I don't think his 2016 was a fluke at all.

I think this has more to do with what you need than anything else.  The picks are just throw ins to me so if you need a TE I pull the trigger as I agree a bit with travdogg that Rudolph should have a solid year.

Being that this is a play 1 RB league it devalues the need to stock RB depth.  If you have a good TE already and need a lottery ticket RB for the future then I probably keep Perine.

Being a PPR league also devalues Perine.

Without knowing the rest of your roster I'd take the deal. Rudolph (barring injury) is a top 10 TE with top 5 upside.

The next two drafts are pretty stocked with skill position talent, the two seconds are not just throw ins. You would have two 2nd'sw in 2018 & 2019 (If you haven't traded yours) and could package something to move up in either/both years as well.
