Love following this guy.. extremely interesting, unfiltered behind the scenes look into the front lines of the war on ISIS. He's reportedly paying out of pocket to cover his costs to fight wiht the Duhok Anti Terror unit (Peshmerga / Kurds)... Definitely a view of the war you're not really going to find anyhere else.

@Doctor Detroit, you follow this guy? Check him out and let me know your thoughts on his feed/images/situation.

From what little I know, these guys do not #### around... they don't seem to give a #### about the politics of war and appearing politically correct to the US media. They stack bodies high, collect their weapons (they frequently seem to be outmanned and outgunned).... then rinse/repeat. Very cool to see uncensored photos/footage direct from the front lines.

Just donated $20. So awesome, god bless these guys for doing what they do. Strip the politics of a state run attack out of the equation and just go after these terrorists.

Might give more.

Yep.. I've thrown few shekels their way as well. Probably the most direct route for your cash to take. No bloated executive salaries or "fundraising expenses". If this guy is coming out of pocket personally to cover his food/ammo/etc... he's likely putting every dime he gets toward ammo/food.

Love that they are unfettered by politics or a need to be good guys like the US forces are... these guys can fight unrestrained on a level playing field.

He seems to be very well spoken as well... very interesting insights (to me).

Of course, @Doctor Detroit or someone similarly knowledgeable could come and take the wind out of these sails, but I'm really enjoying rooting for them.

This is ####### awesome.  Man, we argue on a message board, & come up with trite "solutions/answers" while these guys JUST ####### DO IT!...

@[icon]... seriously, thanks for sharing...I had no idea about this...Mea Culpa.

From an ambush some weeks ago. We manged to capture this terrorist alive but rest of his gang were killed and some even blew themselves up rather than getting captured by us.Peshmerganor is seen giving him medical aid when their commander tells our General to execute him. At the end of the video you can hear an explosion caused either by a hand grenade thrown at us or terrorist detonating his belt.

We were engaging in urban warfare, fighting street by street in a town where a few hundred IS fighters and a large convoy of enemy Humvees had just entered. Every now and then me and @Peshmerganor would run to take cover behind a wall from incoming shrapnel either by VBIEDS or airstrikes. After rehydrating and nearly getting ourselves killed for some Wild Tiger energy drinks me and @Peshmerganordecided to climb up to a rooftop to provide overwatch for the rest of our unit. Believing it was a smart idea but clearly not when this bad boy whistled inches from my head following some dozen more rounds fired against us. Laughing out loud we chose to climb down as fast as we had climbed up, and later that night when we made it back to base safe and alive @Peshmerganor gave me the same bullet that nearly killed me as a present. Very ironically done by him.#Peshmergaswe #Peshmerganor
Would be pretty interesting to have a bullet that nearly killed you: IMAGE

ISIS solider who was killed's GoPro footage prior to and during a battle with the Peshmerga: https://news.vice.com/video/what-its-really-like-to-fight-for-the-islamic-state

I don't know a lot, but it's pretty clear from watching that this group of ISIS soldiers looked like a group of unsophisticated, disorganized bunch of lunatics.
I'm sure there are some quality fighters for IS, and I don't pretend to know nearly as much about the situation as others.... but a lot of what I'm reading does seem to paint a picture of a lower-quality caliber of soldier.  Their primary strength seems to be a willingness (borderline eagerness) to die for the cause...  However there are NUMEROUS instances of a handful of US soldiers taking out large numbers ISIS troops. A lot of that is weaponry and support... but a lot of it has to be training/skill. It seems like groups like the Peshmerga tend to be more skilled than IS fighters in general as well.
