The Indianapolis Star suggests that Peyton Manning's new contract could fall in the "five-year, $100 million neighborhood."

The extension is expected to be finalized "in the next few months." $20 million per year would make Manning the richest player in NFL history, which the Colts have no problem with. The signing bonus could be in the $40M range.
