Lemme fix that. Where's Lynch? I musta missed him too.Levi is number 8 to the Falcons
Hmm...very interesting...Normally, I'd have to believe someone would risk a lower 1st round pick for him id he drops that far (in spite of his alleged dumb PR moves). But now in the post-Pacman era, he could drop even more.Idtake it with a grain of salt, but I'm hearing whispers that Lynch is being less than open in interviews and doing no media and that's what is hurting his stock.
agree with Puz too low, he seems like a good candidate for BUF if SF takes Willis. I wouldn't so sure about the Skins not taking Landry. I think your logic is not what the team will use when it comes time to make the pick. When you are picking in the single digits, BPA trumps need.As good as any at this point. Posluszny & Houston too low.Hall & Brown too high.Meriweather instead of Nelson?I'm not convinced Moss & Gonzalez are first rounders. With free safety being one of the least important positions, I have a hard time seeing how the Redskins spend their one pick on it, no matter how good the player may be.
That's where my final mock has him going. I think Poz is just the kind of player Levy is looking for. I don't know how much the former Penn Stater Shane Conlan comes to mind...agree with Puz too low, he seems like a good candidate for BUF if SF takes Willis.
Lot's of question as to BPA at #6 overall though. I think the BPA philosophy comes later in the draft when there's more question as to whether or not players are of elite status. Still, it would be a good pick to make. Landry will be a stud.I wouldn't so sure about the Skins not taking Landry. I heard/saw somewhere that the Cardinals maybe one of the teams that like Brown more than Thomas...don't remember where, but maybe a Card's fan can help.Lemme fix that. Where's Lynch? I musta missed him too.Levi is number 8 to the FalconsLevi will not go that high...
I read the same thing. I also think it's total crap and a smokescreen Arizona's putting out in hopes that nobody trades in front of them to take Thomas.I heard/saw somewhere that the Cardinals maybe one of the teams that like Brown more than Thomas...don't remember where, but maybe a Card's fan can help.
Also to be taken with a grain of salt. It's rumored he isn't smart enough to do anything but play deep and react. I read he has choked at the chalk board in some interviews. My take all along has been there is something wrong with the ultra high ratings. He was an excellent JC player who transferred and was plugged in as a rover surrounded by the best defensive talent in the country. I saw him make some great plays, but I also saw him be very fortunate and blow a bunch of plays too.HMMM no Nelson either.
I'm hearing enough negatives about Houston's run support and ball skills to believe it. He is a a force in coverage, he is exceptionally fast quick and strong, but natural hands and some important instincts may be lacking. I am moving him down from CB1 to CB2 and Revis goes back where I should have always left him.I read something somewhere that made a good case for five 1st round CBs.As good as any at this point. Posluszny & Houston too low.
Wade? Also hearing that Houston is in the 20s now.I'm hearing enough negatives about Houston's run support and ball skills to believe it. I love this quote. The Raiders should select Quinn over Russell, but likely won't.(I'm not saying Russell isn't a good leader. I'm saying Quinn is better.)No owner knows as much about the intricacies of the game as Davis, but sometimes the most simple rules of scouting can be overlooked, and at the QB position, arm strength pales in comparison to the ability to lead. With this selection, the Raiders set back their franchise another three years.

I'm not sure but I think it was Casale praising Daymeion Hughes. His corner rankings were... exactly how I see things.eta - unless he was way down on Houston. info overload here I comeWade? Also hearing that Houston is in the 20s now.I'm hearing enough negatives about Houston's run support and ball skills to believe it. I don't know how you can make that claim. What have you seen to support it? Who Dat and I have both seen Quinn break down mentally and we think he has some major issues as a competitor and leader. Russell has been heroic and everyone involved at LSU, coaches and players alike give him praise for his leadership. Russell's downside as a leader is Culpepper. Quinn's is significantly lower-- based on observations from key moments in the toughest games. Russell has ice water in his veins. Quinn's accuracy problems flare up and he forces things.I love this quote. The Raiders should select Quinn over Russell, but likely won't.(I'm not saying Russell isn't a good leader. Guy scares me a little. A bit of a Ricky Williams vibe there. Then again, Edgerrin James and Clinton Portis are strange characters, and they've both held it together just fine.take it with a grain of salt, but I'm hearing whispers that Lynch is being less than open in interviews and doing no media and that's what is hurting his stock.
I'm done debating Russell v. Quinn.I don't know how you can make that claim. What have you seen to support it? The greatness of Russell's arm isn't just how strong it is, but how accurate and versatile. He has amazing touch to go with the cannon. Quinn's inaccuracy will probably do him in. I dub him Brady Quinnacurate.![]()
This is the Marshawn we know and love... Sounds like those whispers are smoke. Someone wants him to fall. He might. Who knows, but he shouldn't. I think Marshawn is more an LT homebody personality than a Ricky.Guy scares me a little. A bit of a Ricky Williams vibe there. Well that's no fun. I wasn't aware you had been debating it anyway.I'm done debating Russell v. Quinn.I don't know how you can make that claim. What have you seen to support it? Meh, it wasn't Casale. He like Houston #1, Revis 2, Ross 3 Hall 4, loves Wade and Hughes, doesn't care for McCauley. I really like the way that guy works every year. You should Audible him.I'm not sure but I think it was Casale praising Daymeion Hughes. His corner rankings were... exactly how I see things.eta - unless he was way down on Houston. info overload here I comeWade? Also hearing that Houston is in the 20s now.I'm hearing enough negatives about Houston's run support and ball skills to believe it. Marshawn's ex-girlfriend (from HS) was a nutcase... seriously. It got so bad her own attorney was highly critical of her.guys.... what about Lynch and the alleged assault, physical and sexual, of his former girlfriend? And didn't she have a restraining order taken out on him?
I think the 5th first round CB could be either McCauley or even Josh Wilson for someone looking for a CB and a returner who loves the workout numbers. One thing I've learned watching many years of drafts is that no matter how many mocks we read, there's always a handful of players that go earlier than all the mocks and a handful that always drop.Wade? Also hearing that Houston is in the 20s now.I'm hearing enough negatives about Houston's run support and ball skills to believe it. I don't think the Jags will take a Safety in Round 1 unless they trade back to do so. No one besides Landry is worth a top 17 pick.I think the Colts will take a CB especially if they don't match the bid for Jason David.-Nawrocki's wrong about the Bills' CB situation too.-With all the attention they've paid him lately, I would be shocked to see the Rams not select Ginn if he's available.-Would the Jags really take a safety if Carriker was available?-The Colts have greater needs than adding depth to the safety position.
I would hope not.-Nawrocki's wrong about the Bills' CB situation too.

what Marv should remember is that Shane Conlan sucked after he hurt his knee.Poz may have been the pick before he hurt his knee, but not anymore. He fits better in a traditional D, not in the speed based cover 2 that the Bills want to play. That's where my final mock has him going. I think Poz is just the kind of player Levy is looking for. I don't know how much the former Penn Stater Shane Conlan comes to mind...agree with Puz too low, he seems like a good candidate for BUF if SF takes Willis.Lot's of question as to BPA at #6 overall though.
