Managed to get over to Lehigh this morning, so here is what I saw:
Kevin Curtis was the highlight of the drills. Several good catches from 10-30 yards, and he looked sharp. Didn't drop a ball.
Curtis lined up nearly every time to the left with Reggie Brown on the right. 2 WR formation, so don't expect Curtis to normally be in a slot position.
McNabb was NOT on the field at all.
Hank Baskett looks to be the clear #3 WR, and he showed good hands.
Jason Avant was a distant 4th and caught only 2 or 3 balls for short yardage.
The drills were 7 on 7, 11 on 11 and also some WR drills working on DBs (2 on 2 w/ QB). They also did several drives (like a 1 min drill) throughout the morning.
Practice was a brisk pace from 8:15 to 10:30 AM. HC Reid in the middle of it all, and owner Jeff Lurie was on the sidelines.
Defense - Trent Cole looked quick. Broke up a rollout by rookie Kevin Kolb during 11 on 11.
Kolb looked decent, hitting Curtis deep on a nice 40 yard strike.
Rookies #17 (Jamison) and #88 (Collie) at WR looked ok, going about 50-50 on receptions in coverage.
Some good mixed drills in lineups, such as 2nd D vs 1st 0. LB Matt McCoy was on 2nd squad and he put a solid lick on RB Tony Hunt in the left flat
Westbrook wasn't used much. Ryan Moats and Hunt both worked on the first team.
First D - LBs - SLB = Gocong. MLB = Trotter. WILL = Takeo Spikes. Spikes was quick and covered SL to SL.
#35 Nick Graham (CB) stuck Reggie Brown going along the seam.
#77 LaJuan Ramsey (DL) broke up a THunt run in the backfield.
#27 Quentin Mikell (CB) picked off a pass from AJFeeley in 7 on 7 drills
#31 Rashad Barksdale (CB) also had an INT from a tipped pass
LJ Smith was playing (and no red jersey) and had a few catches over the middle in 7 on 7 and 11 on 11.
#87 TE Brent Celek looks like a big target.
WR Greg Lewis looked ok with a few catches. Seems ahead of Avant.
#19 Michael Gasperson (WR) was open deep but poorly timed a pass intended for him. He didn't run as hard as he should and the ball fell incomplete. The pass looked fine.
RB Ryan Moats looked good, but then he fumbled about 2/3 into practice (recovered by Holcomb).
RB Nate Ilaoa looked quick and powerful running around the left, but he didn't look like he did well when trying to cut. Could be a short yardage option.
Starting DL was Kearse, Patterson, Bunkley and TCole.
WR Reggie Brown toasted Joselio Hanson EASILY on a deep (35-40 yd) TD pass in the 1-minute drill.
LB Omar Gaither is running on 2nd D.
#30 CJ Gaddis put a nice hit on RB Hunt.
#75 Juqua Thomas beat Thomas "hell" Tapeh for a sack.
Tony Hunt scored a Red Zone / goal line TD in the next batch of full team / 1-min drills. He looked quick in and out of the hold.
Akers drilled long FGs from 50+, nailing 2 from 53.
KRs were Bloom (who looks fast), GLewis, Barksdale and MoatsThat's it for now.
