I only stumbled upon this open source league management system today. Looks like it is still being developed in that the scoring categories aren't as complete as others, but you can't beat the price of free. It includes live scoring (or close to it) and most of the basic features one would need to run a league. Too late for me this year but seems like a great idea and from what I can tell it works fairly well.

Anyone have any "real world" experience with this last year or so far this year?

I'm using it this year, replacing my own homebrewed backend software. I've heavily modified both the front end and some of the program code to suit my league's rules and procedures.Take a look at my league's site if you want, and let me know if you have any questions. (Caveat: Site will not work with IE6, anything else should be ok)

looks pretty slick! its almost something right out of phpwebsite by Applachian State!there is a php-based FFL website on sourceforge.net, that was 'thisclose' to being finished years back, but was abandoned. its called ffl6.0 or ffl7.0...Basically, they stopped developing code for it, because they couldn't find a free online stat service that they could extrapolate data from, in order to make the site 'live' with real-time scores and so on...

but,the skeleton fo the site remains on sourceforge.its something that can be worked on if you know php well!

I ran into a GREAT software kit for drafts, at fantasydraftboards.net

here is their demo screen shot:

draft board

it runs like a charm! it cost $20,but was well worth it..

we used it the other night, and it was great! much better than labels and a paper draft board..we beamed this image thru a projector screen onto a wall, and it was visible to all!

you can hook your laptop up to a tv, and run the draft in your living room, with a flat screen TV or your projection screen!
