All consumers in CA now have direct access to Physical Therapists. This means that you now can see a PT for 12 visits or 45 days without needing an initial prescription from their MD. Many PTs can solve many of your musculoskeletal problems in this time frame. Take advantage of this new access if you want to try and solve your issues before seeing if a MD is really necessary!
