I pulled the plug on Molina today for Piazza. Molina had a good run but has been slumping and is now hitting less than .200 in the past month. If Piazza gets traded to MINN even better.
Amazing thing about Molina he has 85 hits plus 8 walks this season which means he has been a base runner 93 times. I didn't even look to see if he reached base on any errors. He has scored 19 runs, 9 of them on his own homers. That means in 84 times on base he has scored 10 runs. That has got to be some kind of record for being stranded on base.
