A league I am picked an order which will allow you to pick the draft slot you want.

12 team league, ppr, 6pts all td's everything else normal scoring

Pick 1,5 and 6 have been taken. I am up in three picks. Was thinking of taking 10, 11 or12. Never have done this before so any help would be appreciated.

I'd take the 2nd pick easily. Don't give yourself an excuse to go WR/WR.

Do your first round tiers and work backward. You basically want the last pick of a given tier, then second last....

Do a 3 round mock (project the top 36 picks) and see what spots you like best.

11 and 12 have been murdering drafts.

I have liked the 4th and 5th spots this year. It gave me one of the big 5 RBs and a stud WR. They also seemed to give me players at the end of my tiers in several rounds.

I drafted 1st and 2nd both and always seemed to miss my players by a pick or 2.

Of course, the above is based on my lists, so take it as you wish.

I want the best player I can get and will live with my choice so I would take two or three

I took 4 in a 10 team ppr this year... I had my choice of any spot but one. I rightly figured Jamaal Charles or Rice would be there at 4, and I thought I could get either Nicks or Fitzgerald on the way back. I was right on both accounts.

I almost always take the highest pick available when my turn comes up, even if I have a group of players tiered together. IMO, it's always better to be at the front of the buffet line than at the back.

Unless CJ signs prior to your draft, i'd go 2 and take Rice targeting Fitz on the way back....

If you believe that the talent pool at the top is 4-deep, take 4. 3-deep, take 3. 2-deep, take 2.If you like being near the ends to have 2 picks near each other, I can see 10 or 11. I've seen good drafts at 2&3 and also 10&11.Middle picks are for those who like the draft to come to them. Take value and roll. You aren't starting runs and you're not missing any.To each their own - but I'd lean 2 or 3.
