Great work.

My rooster looks right. Not good mind you, but you got the bums I selected loaded correctly.

Thanks for running the draft.

i don't see my roster on yahoo. my team page just shows all empty positions.

edit: nice work running the draft RnR

will the waiver order change to be inverse of the draft order? or stay as it currently is on yahoo?
Thanks for eyeing that. It appears it was ordered by inverse of sign-up order, not draft order. I have changed it to reflect the inverse draft order.

who do you predict to finish top 3 this year after seeing the draft results?

my guess:

1) sparty

2) rodg

3) peyton
My 12th round pick tore his ACL mid-draft and I'm still the preseason favorite. That's how you draft, people.
Yeah, but these rankings were compiled by shadyridr's younger cousin... so....

Let's not strain any muscles patting ourselves on the back in Spring Training, you guys. Need you all healthy for Opening Day.

Hey this Kris Bryant mid-8th round pick could work out pretty good.
Remember when Chris Heisey and Luis Valbuena lead the league in HR's last year during spring training? That was awesome.

RNR- They added Micah Johnson to yahoo, but EZ picked him up.
Sorry, my bad. :bag: Let me know if I need me to do something or if the commish needs to correct this.
I'll fix it. Do you have someone you wanted to pick up instead, or do you want to reacquire the player you dropped?

EDIT- I see you dropped Yu Darvish. I'll just leave your roster spot open and you can add someone else.

Hector Olivera is Munenori Kawasaki

Miguel Castro is David Aardsma

Odubel Herrera is Tony Campana
This should be the current placeholder list.
OK, I dropped Aardsma to pick up Ziegler yesterday. Totally forgot about Miguel Castro. I will drop Mike Dunn now and pick-up Aardsma once he clears waivers.
That's your call. You're free to drop him, just know it represents Castro.

Welcome, Gida.

First, how are you doing?

Thank you for joining us today.

The puke emoticon is here ---> :X . Please use it sparingly.

I am quite pleased with my staff, thanks for asking. This is a daily league with 1300 IP limit, so you may find that my valuation of pitching here is a little different than it would be in other places.

The "garbage" you reference combined for 76 saves last season. Saves are a category here.

I like the mixture of arms I have, given the ability to pick and choose their starts. Not all of these guys will be "every start" kind of pitchers, and I suspect I may add another pitcher or two from the waiver wire along the way. It'll be fine, though your concern is duly noted.

You cannot be serious.

This is a horrific pitching staff, u know it. Or I hope you do. You have 2 reliable SP's on the entire staff. Walker and Martinez aren't even guaranteed starting jobs , come on now.

Those closers are great for saves, that is if you don't count ERA and WHIP.

This has all the makings of a great offense which it is, but close to last ,if not dead last in pitching.

I'm surprised you were able to run the pitching numbers on the entire league that quickly. I wouldn't be surprised that you'd find that I'm near the bottom if you're using projections.

I'm surprised NV doesn't own Castro in all leagues, including ones he doesn't compete in.

You really think I need to run projections on that staff? I clicked on about 3-4 other teams, that was it. But there wasn't a team you were even close to in terms of SP quality....at least for now.

That's the fun part of this game. We all have our opinions. Maybe we'll kick Nancy out of the league and you can play next year. Easy money, right?

The last comment is the key. There is always pitching on waivers, rarely are there hitters unless you use one of the few bench spots on a minor leaguer. Gonna have weaknesses in a 14 teamer, so if you're going to be weak somewhere be weak with pitching.

My GB Mac and I are on the same page with this one. The fact that we agree on it is pretty damning to your argument. We don't agree on anything.
