No, it's either all FCFS (minus drops) or all Waiver Wire. I don't believe Yahoo! has an option for a combo. It's a compelling enough reason to look for a new site to use in 2017 if we decide the setup for 2016 sucks. Not sure if it's possible but can you set it where you can pick up and start a player the same day up until the start of the first game?
A free agent period between waivers and gametime?

I don't think you own PollockCommish - They won't let me drop Pollock, so I had to drop Devin travis to make some moves. Can you manually let me drop Pollock and get back Devon?
Too many leagues to keep track.I don't think you own Pollock![]()
So if I'm reading this right the waiver process is a problem because you're in too many leagues. That's a new one.Too many leagues to keep track.
This nightly waiver run is a p\roblem,
I put two players on DL. I now have invalid roster. It may be valid tomorrow after waivers run, but maybe not. There needs to be FCFS at some point to create legal rosters.
No, you're not reading it right. I have Pollock in about a dozen out of 15 leagues and mistakenly said I had him in this one., I do not.So if I'm reading this right the waiver process is a problem because you're in too many leagues. That's a new one.
For clarification, what are you calling a legal roster?cosjobs said:No, you're not reading it right. I have Pollock in about a dozen out of 15 leagues and mistakenly said I had him in this one., I do not.
Nightly waivers are problem because: if you have an illegal roster because of drops or DL, you cannot ensure you make you roster legal with FA pickups, because someone with a higher priority may snipe your replacement, leaving your roster invalid and no way to correct until the next waiver run, where you may or may not get a proper replacement.
The only way you can have an illegal roster is if you have a guy on the DL that is no longer DL eligible. If that's the case then cut someone and move the DL guy to active. if you don't then yahoo won't let you make a move anyway.cosjobs said:No, you're not reading it right. Sounds like good questions. For February.i'm in two leegs with cos and he's blowing up the other message board asking about how the weekly lineups work. it's been a pretty hectic morning.
You obviously don't get extremely drunk and think of Fantrax salary cap leagues 10-15 times in MarchThis is my only league.
They changed part of the rules from last year and didn't change the other part and then added today's game to the first week.Sounds like good questions. For February.
tell us more about your other leagueThey changed part of the rules from last year and didn't change the other part and then added today's game to the first week.
What that meant was, with Pollock's injury, there was no way to replace him before the first weeks games, since waivers run Thur and Sun. It was an issue.
Losing Pollock was bad enough, without being forced to punt an OF position for the first 8 days. In no previous situation was an owner forced to punt an entire week of stats because of an injury that occurred before the weekly contest began. Throwing in Sunday added extra confusion.
But turns out they also changed (but did not advise) that lineups are no longer due at noon, the day of the period's first game, but now until a players games start that week, so problem solved.
Gone. GREAT pick though.
oh wow, i was between gregerson and pearce. didn't even realize he was gone. he go in the 27th?

Should've used Vine for this.Pie Leeg decoder:
Bosom Buddies = Rated R Superstar
Cake Mentor = cosjobs
Vogt for Cruz = Chemical X
Rock Pigernies = FDAS/PMarino
I can make this easier, I will at any given time, be one of the bottom 3 teams, no matter my team name.Pie Leeg decoder:

Being the owner of 4 different teams should make this goal a lot easier to accomplish.I can make this easier, I will at any given time, be one of the bottom 3 teams, no matter my team name.
well, 1 team will be really good when I trade the best players there......Being the owner of 4 different teams should make this goal a lot easier to accomplish.
HE'S BACK!The **** Hernandez era is over before it even began.:tips40:

Every one that isn't on a roster is on waivers. Every night, Yahoo runs waiver claims overnight and awards the player to the person with the highest priority claim. They are eligible to be used immediately. The player who is dropped in the transaction must go through a two day waiver to ensure everyone gets a chance to see they're available.
