Not much waiver wire activity for the first night. shady inc is already behind last year's pace.
if the final standings were determined by number of transactions, i would have finished

2018: 1st
2019: 1st
2020: 1st
2021: 1st
2022: 1st
2023: 2nd (@jamny got me by 4)
2024: 2nd (@expos123 blew me away - 255 transactions to my 210)

I'm back to claim my crown this year.

Opening day when the DTDs change to IL is the one time that a return to the old waiver rules would be nice.
That might be possible (for consideration for next season) ... I think I could temporarily change the transaction rules in commish settings on Yahoo. Alternatively, I could just leave it as "waiver rules" from post-draft to Opening Day and then make the swap to FCFS for the regular season.

Looking through the list of today's adds, it probably isn't worth the bother

Fantrax may have slow drafts, but where will you turn when you need that torpedo bat intel quickly? Checkmate.

Can you guys imagine what this free agent pool would look like with an additional 30 players claimed via adding 2 more IL spots?
