FAAB (weekly) has been shot down a few times in the past. Personally, I don't mind it. But the churners feel passionately about it.

Weekly FAAB makes more sense with weekly or bi-weekly lineups IMO. The current format kind of requires the ability to make daily adds/drops.

Although I dunno if that's a good thing. I feel like I'm churning like a maniac lately and I'm 12th in the league in total moves. Some of y'all are nuts. Maybe toning it down would be better.

There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to order. Or if there is, I can't figure it out. I routinely see teams higher in the standings getting players ahead of those behind them.

I get that football's schedule is a lot shorter, but waivers based on standings seems to work fine there.

The players that are put on waivers should be awarded via the waiver order priority after the waiver period (usage of a waiver claim drops you to the bottom of the list). The original waiver priority is set to the reverse draft order (ex. 15th pick gets 1st waiver priority) in March and then it's continuously changing as people make claims. Standings don't factor into this.

The rest of the players in free agency are not subject to waivers and are available first-come, first-serve daily (this is how the majority of transactions are happening)

That's a limitation of Yahoo. Fantrax doesn't force you to wait until the next day to make an add/drop; any transaction after the start of the first game of the day becomes effective the following day.

I don't think Yahoo allows you to check league standings from a given day so I can't tell how many points I gained back in the last month but it must be close to 20.

I remember being more worried in early September about staying ahead of @shady inc for 2nd than the remote possibility of reeling in @Spartans Rule. As it was, I didn't take the lead until only 3 or 4 days were left in the season. What a crazy season.

You're right, there was 1 day I jumped into 2nd and idk what changed but you took off from there.

I am confused how I won HR but only came tied for 8th in RBI's. I thought there was more correlation there. However it didn't make much of a difference in my chance to win as I came dead last in OBP

I guess being the only team under 2000 games played is a direct correlation to having the least amount of R, HR, and RBI's. SB and OBP (5th and 6th accordingly) didn't help very much....

I don't do daily lineup leagues or roto style leagues so this has been a slog for me. I really need to make sure I have hitters every day. That seems to be a key as well as not drafting guys that get injured and guys that actually perform.
