Pierre Garcon (1 Viewer)

I'm really on the fence with Garcon. Having a hard time figuring out how he will do this game. Last week, NE blitzed over 50 times. This according to Boomer on his radio show. I think if NE uses the same gameplan, this will open the deep pass for Garcon atleast once and maybe twice. The reason for the blitzes, is that with all the injuries, the talent level at WR is not as good as it once was for INDY, so limiting Manning's time could cause issues in the passing game. If this is the case I see garcon having a 7/100/1-2 day.

However, if NE plays a little softer on D and tries to prevent the deep pass, Garcon is probably going to have the weaker of the stats from the WR/TEs. Here is where his drops occur and I think he'll end up with a 5/50/0 day. Plus, is it really like NE to use similar gameplan 2 weeks in a row?

I'm really leaning not to start garcon, but the over/under I think is over 50 points. Based on this, there is points to be scored. Wayne will go off, but I'm sure NE will key to stop him as best they can. I figure Tamme will have his usual so far. Just not sure on Garcon. Thoughts from the SP?

I am thinking he's due. Of course I've thought that for several weeks now. But this game projects to be a shootout and he has to be the Colts second or third option in the passing game and the Ind running game sucks. But if he doesn't do it this week, he's probably pretty done as starter material.

I think garcon is a solid play this week. The pats blitzed a lot against pitt because of the depleted oline and big ben likes to hang on to the ball. In the past the pats game plan is to have way more cover packages than blitz packages against the very smart quick thinking peyton manning. Garcon will get his tomorrow mainly because manning will pick the pats secondary apart.

Classic FF dilemma

Juicy juicy juicy matchup

Disappointing player with opportunity (again!) to step up

Got him on my bench, no confidence this week is any different

Dude still can't catch easy balls (but will make the incredible impossible grab) - hard for his QB to trust him

He'll get some targets and some catches and may or may not score - hard guy to read or start with confidence

He'll be on my bench. On paper this should've been a great matchup but I'm not liking what I'm seeing in Indy from Garcon and the Offense in general.

Manning hasn't been comfortable in the pocket from the opening snap of day one. Losing Clark and Collie have really thrown them out of sync. The O-line isn't playing as well, and both Wayne's and Garcon's numbers are weak, aside from Garcon's frequent drops and failure to separate on a consistent basis.

Addai also is an excellent pass blocker and outlet for Manning and will be out again. Collie should be back and I don't blame Manning for having more trust in him at this point. Also I think I'm beginning to see a slight dip in the velocity and strength of the Manning arm this season. There is alot of miles on that wing.

I'm starting Maclin and S. Holmes ahead of him. He will not start for me until he actually does something. I have started him way more than I should have thinking this would be THE game....he's due...etc...The problem is that I have Wayne and Tamme too...so I last week I would corner the market on the Indy passing game...wow! How many times has manning been held without a TD? Not many I'm sure. Vick saved me but I'm done with Garcon for now.
