No link, but reported by Pewter Report's Scott Reynolds:

PewterReport.com is reporting that RB Michael Pittman did not practice on Wednesday after re-injuring his sprained ankle in the Bucs-Falcons game. There is a chance he may not play on Sunday. If that is the case, expect Michael Bennett to be activated for Sunday's roster. The Bucs re-signed RB Lionel Gates to the practice squad and still have RB Kenneth Darby on the practice squad as well. Stay tuned to PewterReport.com for more Buccaneers news later this afternoon/evening.

I am convinced I have put the whammy on this guy. Each time I pick him up, the next game he is injured - unreal.

Looks like he could be done for the year

Lionel Gates-RB- Buccaneers Nov. 21 - 6:06 pm etBucs re-signed RB Lionel Gates to their practice squad. He returns as insurance behind Michael Pittman (ankle), who could be lost for the final six games. Gates' upside is likely as a short-yardage back.Source: pewterreport.com Michael Pittman-RB- Buccaneers Nov. 21 - 5:46 pm etMichael Pittman (ankle) missed Buccaneers practice Wednesday, and coach Jon Gruden said afterwards he fears Pittman may be lost for the year.Pittman admitted after last Sunday's game that he probably should've taken another week to rest his lower leg injury. It's now clear that he re-aggravated the injury, possibly severely. Pittman's locker was reportedly cleared out Wednesday, signaling his placement on injured reserve could be imminent. Earnest Graham would see a huge boost in fantasy value if so.Source: pewterreport.comRelated: Earnest Graham

Tough matchups the next two weeks but FF playoffs bring HOU ATL SF!!

Man if Pitt is gone, this is AWESOME NEWS! Graham is GOLD in PPR leagues and I've got KJ who is struggling.

With no competiton for touches I'm starting E.G. every week!

Any new news?

The only thing I've seen on Buc boards is that Pittman was clearing out his locker for the T-day holiday...and it had nothing to do with him being out for the year.

Any update on Pittman's status for Week 13 yet?
Pitt is done dude.
Why do you say that? Here's the latest report...which doesn't say much either way...but certainly sounds better than the BS rumors of Pitt clearing out his locker:

"Bucs coach Jon Gruden says Michael Pittman (ankle) has a chance to play in Week 13 against the Saints.

Either Pittman's re-aggravated ankle injury isn't as bad as initially thought, or Gruden is being extremely optimistic. Gruden did indicate Pittman could be a game-time decision, which sounds like a best case scenario.

Michael Pittman (ankle) says he's not in danger of being placed on I.R., but does not expect to play in Week 13. He didn't practice Wednesday.

Pittman says his goal is to return in Week 14 against the Texans. Earnest Graham remains a safe RB2/flex play against New Orleans this Sunday.

Playoffs are here in my league. No way I count on Pittman for anything. Why would I when he's already been seriously nicked up even if he retuns? He's DONE as far as I'm concerned.

FBG Update - partially participated in practice on Friday and is questionable for this weekend. All of us Graham owners can only hope they decide to sit him another week.
