Playing the weekend match ups (1 Viewer)

I saw a thread on here that talked about picking up all defenses thru the Fantasy Football playoffs that play against Oakland.. I grabbed Cincy (in light of the recent dui :( it seems like a decent strategy)

Who else did you pick up this week and intend on starting over your original drafted starters? I grabbed cedric houston and may start him over driver... Garcia is out there and seems like it might be a good matchup to acquire and start over the other folks on my roster..

Wondering what FA moves you made this week, intend on starting, and think will pay off tomorrow... Along with how you feel about starting FA over your normal drafted folks in the playoffs...

I picked up Vince Young and am starting him over Bulger vs. Bears. This has been a tough decision because it's the playoffs and I'd hate to lose over my own stupidity. Although, I'm confident with my decision even if it doesn't work out.

For me my core lineup will stay in tact, and I am only toying with options at D/ST. I have the Steelers and Cowboys, and both have mediocre matchups weeks 15 and 16 (I have a bye this week). The Boys go to Atlanta next week and the Steelers to Carolina. There are some interesting teams on the wire that I am debating....

Colts, Chiefs, Raiders, Titans, Rams, Packers

Just can't decide if any of these are better options than what I got.

I picked up Kitna :bag: and I maybe starting him over Bulger. :bag: :bag:

i did what you did -- cinci.
Been sittin' on Cincy, KC and Denver:14 Cin v. Oak15 Den @ Ari16 KC @Oak17 Den v SFbetter would be:15 Stl v. Oak17 NYJ v. OakOakland is just horrible this year.
My league has a roster max of 2 defenses.I was planning to drop Cinci next week for the Jets -- no one but me touched them all season. But they were snapped up a couple of days ago. I'll probably try to retrieve KC; I also have the Packers, who have a nice schedule.

I did too. This could be a great waiver wire fill in worth big points. Hopefully noone goes to jail before kick-off. :bag: I grabbed them 2 weeks ago so someone else wouldn't kill me with them based on this match-up with OAK. Now I'm playing them as both NYG and DEN have been giving up points. I figure I may as well roll the dice with CIN. I don't think they can do much worse than either NYG@CAR or DEN@SD. I like the upside for CIN in this game.

I picked up Vince Young and am starting him over Kitna in the first round of our playoffs this week.

I've stashed the Patriot, Dolphin and Chief D's on my roster for the playoff run (which ends for us in week 16).

for me absent studs it has become all about the matchups

so for this week ive dropped both dunn and ronnie brown to pick up cedric houston vs buffalo and fason vs detroit. Ive also picked up tennessee vs houston and intend to start all 3

I also picked up Cinci - even though my normal D is also ranked very high this weekend. Seemed like a no brainer and I was surprised when they ended up with me (due to my high ranking I had 10 other owners in front of me on the WW).

Would you guys start The Bengals even if you had a top 4 FBG ranked D on the roster with them?

I picked up the Rams D, since their matchup vs the Bears is better than the Cowboys' matchup vs. the Saints. Of course, this means that Rex Grossman will get 400 yards and 4 TDs, and the Cowboys will shut the Saints out.

Doing the exact same thing. :crossesfingers:

Our WW shuts down the last Saturday of the regular season (week 13) so there's no relief to be had if your not set for your play-off run by then too bad!

My last dip into the WW pool netted me Cedric Houston who I'm starting over Taylor and Foster this week-end; against a dinged up Bills D I'm hoping he can match last weeks numbers ... hopeful but not holding my breath!
