Playoff preperation! (match ups) (1 Viewer)

I am currently undefeated in my league and am confident that I will be seeing the playoffs. Currently my roster consists of with matchups from wk 14, 15 , 16):

m. turner (that is my keeper) - dont want to trade, but i dont want to play him in the playoffs either. (n.o, tampa bay, minnesota)

addai and rhodes (pretty good match ups but i am concerned about RBBC when addai is healthy) (cinci, detroit, jacksonville)

schaub (gb, tennesee, oakland,)

cutler (kc, carolina, buffalo) only use 1 qb, and i have been alternating these two.

s. smith (tampa bay, denver, giants)

a. johnson (green bay, tenessee, oakland)

d. avery (az, seattle, san fran)

s. holmes

t. hightower (st. louis, minnesota, new england)

k. curtis

well, I am looking for suggestions on what guys I should get rid of and perhaps go after. Obviously there are guys in the league thirsty for a playoff spot and are hungry for guys that I can afford to get rid of. Should i be worried about addai and rhodes splitting carries and get rid of em while some people arent considering that? I got two quarterbacks that are pretty solid, should i get rid of cutler and try and go after a mediocre rb that has good match ups? Should I perhaps get rid of a. johnson and go after a solid no. 1 rb? Obviously there are infinate things that I can do and i would just like to hear input.

Overall, take this topic and let everyone know guys you like. On top of that, let us know guys that have been awsome that you dont think will be good during the playoffs.

I like the idea of this.... might just be a good idea to post the teams that have the great match-up and what position will benefit from it... who knows who the WR's or the RB will be at that time (seriously quit getting hurt or suspended Addai/Westbrook/LT/SJax Holmes/LJohnson)

Don't want to get too excited, but, Raiders and Justin Fargas play the following games leading up to fantasy playoffs:

week 11 - denver

week 12 - kc

week 13 - SD

week 14 - NE

week 15 - houston

I can't think of a RB with an easier schedule down the stretch than Fargas has with Oakland. Now I know he's not a stud by any means, but at what point does the Raider front office just shut down Mcfadden and IR him for the remainder of the season? Fargas had 22 carries against a good Jets defense last week...he did fairly well,considering..

if he continues to get 22-25 carries/week, against teams like KC,Houston,Denver, SD, NE, he's likely to rush for 100+ yards in a few of those games..

isn't it a bit of a reach to expect that McFadden will be shut down for turf toe? sure it is a lingering injury but he can't do any permanent damage to it by playing - isn't it just pain?

no, turf toe can end a players' career. Ask Jack Lambert or Mark Bavaso.edit to add: Marshall Faulk was hampered by turf toe at different times for most of his career.
