My draft is Thursday during the bowl games. Unlike past years, no idea what I'm going to do. Lots of wildcard games that on paper look like they could go either way and no dominant bye week recepient. If Carolina had gotten home field I'd feel good about them, but since they didn't I can't even predict the Super Bowl teams!

Had my draft last night it went like this:1 -Brian Westbrook2 - Peyton Manning3 - DeAngelo Williams4 - Brandon Jacobs5 - Mike Turner6 - Steve Smith7 - Adrian Peterson8 - Phil Rivers9 - LeRon McClain10 -Reggie Wayne11 -Chris Johnson12 -Joseph Addai13 -Hines Ward14 -Donovan McNabb15- Eli Manning16 - Baltimore D17 - Tomlinson18 - Fitzgerald19 - Delhomme20 - Roddy White21 - Big Ben22- Willie Parker23 - A.BOldin24 - DeShaun Jacksonusualyl people load up on one team in these draftsMy squad:DelhommeJ.StewartM.MooreS.Smith - CarS.HolmesAvantHeath MillerRackersCarolina D
You likey Carolina...me likey them too!I also like when players get at least a couple games...say like Rackers - Arizona winning their first game at home then most likely losing to either Carolina or New York. I don't think Arizona could travel and beat either one of these teams...yet that's why they play the game.Interesting that Westbrook went #1. And you went S Smith @ #6 then come back at the turn with Delhomme @ #19. Where did you get Stewart overall? Who did you take in round #3 and #4?

Jacobs seems high to me. Not that I wouldn't take him, but you already miss a game with him given the "bye"...I would try to load up on the best wildcard team, as you pretty much know you will get two games out of them.

not true. teams with the home game and the bye win more often than not. I also see no lock in any of the 4 wildcard games this weekend.

Wide Receivers - any other sneaky sleeper plays. How would you rank some of these guys for Tennessee or Philadelphia or Minnesota besides the obvious? Plus, any injuries to be concerned about like Big Ben, Curtis, or Hightower? I haven't stayed 100% aware of all that has transpired the last couple weeks; only on getting the most of the players on our teams is where our focus has been. Now, it's a whole new ballgame. Let's Go! :deadhorse: Chomp Chomp.

QB:1) E. Manning2) P. Manning3) Warner4) Delhomme5) Rivers6) McNabb7) Collins8) Big Ben / Leftwich9) Flacco10) Pennington11) Shaub12) Jackson
I think you have Warner way too high along with Shaub . P. Manning and Rivers both can't be top 5 as one will be done after one game. I'd move both Big Ben and Collins up. With QBs you can almost count on 200 yd passing and go from there regardless of the matchup.Personally I'd feel good about securing Westbrook and McNabb in the first tow rounds and take my chances with the Eagles.

Okay, I checked out Rotoworld now we await Football Guys for another perspective plus hearing any more from whoever is drawn to post a reply. What I found interesting and unique was at QB the top three: P Manning, McNabb, Big Ben. I might have had E Manning and Delhomme higher? Warner middle of the pack and Flacco seems like a shark pick coming in @ #6. Nobody gives him much respect, yet if Baltimore keeps winning Flacco looks better and better. At RB nothing Earth shaking yet you better get them covered first otherwise turn out the lights. RB's look to be the most valuable in the playoff pool. At WR while R White @ #3 overall is definitely a stud, yet one and done scares me some. How come Arizona has 3 WR's in their top 12 overall? While Tennessee's top WR's are Gage @ #17, Jones @ #25, and McCareins @ #35. Pittsburgh gets their two top WR's in the top 8 overall and NYG are at #13, 18, & 19. The Defenses panned out logically and so did the kickers, not sure I want Elam over Rackers though?

From what I can gather most folks believe the Eagles will win and perhaps do some damage. The Cardinals win one game and then done. Baltimore could stick around longer. In the AFC it's less sure with IND, BAL vying to defeat either TEN or PIT. Whereas the NFC is really a three team race between PHI, CAR, & NYG. Yet what I have learned to understand is really nothing, yet isn't it fun

Warner will be SOD in playoffs.. It is crazy to think Atl will beat AZ at home.. Not gonna happen (seriously) Warner will put up 25 then and 25 following week

The ATL AZ seems like an all or nothing. While AZ is obviously tough at home, i like Atlantas swagger.

And also, don't see alot of love for the EAGLES. I do have to admit though, the Vikings are a tough draw.

If he did not have Derrick Ward behind him, maybe I would buy. But with one less game and no guarantee he will get the ball exclusively, I would have a hard time burning a top 5 pick on him. Think about it, if they are ahead they may sit him for Ward and if they are behind, they will air it out. Now, I am doing a playoff league where we pick our rosters (not a draft) and he will most certainly be on my team (I get to pick 4 RBs and need at least one player on my roster from each team in the playoffs), but I would much rather sew up a QB like one of the Mannings before taking Jacobs.

one less game than who? you assuming the giants lose their first game in the NFC? or that one of these teams playing this weekend are going to the superbowl?
