Hi Folks,

Quick note. This group is fantastic for finding news updates. It's awesome to have the collective power of a ton of eyes and ears searching for relevant news updates.

It's been a key part of this forum for years.

But wanted to stress to please always include the link for the news story. And if there is no link, please let us know where you heard or saw it.

I see it all the time online as people will say something and I'll ask for the link and the story is slightly or maybe significantly different than the source story. It helps so much if we can include the actual story as the source as we're talking about things.

We always do that in our Email Update newsletter. We have the story and what we think it means but also a link to the original story. It's just good practice for keeping information accurate.

For stories from the Twitter app on iphone, there is an icon with an up arrow and a little box on the bottom right of the tweet.

If you touch that, it opens up the "Share Post" screen and then you can click "Copy Link".

Paste into the post here.

I'm not sure how it works on Android but I'm guessing similarly.

It's key for helping us all stay on the same page as the news moves fast. Thanks.
