Hi everyone.  I’m a new poster but I’ve been reading these forums for years.  Seems like a great place with a lot of reach.  I need a favor.  My son runs track at Clemson and they just cut the men’s track & field program.  He is devastated.  We don’t have the financial means to transfer so if this doesn’t get overturned his career will be over.  Please take 3 minutes and sign this petition.  The kids are protesting this week and we need another 1,100 signatures to get to 30,000. Thank you all.  Me and my son appreciate it.

That seems crazy to me that Clemson would cut Track and Field.

Had a scholarship to run cross country and track during college. Never ended up getting the scholarship because  I decided to go to England for my first year of college. After a year in the UK, I was in no condition to run at the college level. LOL. Still worth it.

Hope they reverse that decision. It's not like a track and field program is ridiculously cost prohibitive, even at the college level.
