I'm debating on who to start at both QB and TE.  I am looking good for playoffs (but no guarantee).  it's a multiple match up week and I need the at least one W.

  • @ QB it's Brees v Carr
  • @ TE it's Delanie v Gates

For QB, Brees is @ home (and is traditionally a strong player at home) and coming off a so/so game on the road at CAR.  The Rams "can" be a tough defense but they are on the road and I always find that to be a variable but a Fisher DEF late in season is always tough.  Carr is at home too and has been hot but was also so/so last week but lit it up in the 4th.  The Rams rank as a better overall DEF (I think) and Carolina pass defense has been exposed this year.  I am leaning towards Brees but this is a tough call thus my request for help.

For TE, I've rolled with Delanie most of the year and drafted him as such.  I was able to trade for Gates (primarily as Delanie's week 13 replacement) and have started him twice and luckily on the right weeks.  One of those two starts Henry was out and that is a consideration this week in terms of targets both regular and in the RZ as Henry will be playing (as will Benjamin I assume).  Of note, I also have and will start Tyrell Williams.  Both TEN and SD are on the road.  SD is coming off a bye and I believe HOU has a better ranked DEF overall + I think they are going to play angry after the L on Monday to Oakland.  I am leaning Delanie but again, a tough call.

Thanks for your help.  Please leave link and I will answer yours.

I would say Brees and Walker. Brees at home is usually so good, and the Titans have been rolling on offense.

I agree with the previous post.  I would start Brees and Walker.   Its hard to get away from Brees at home.  He has been fantastic and I would trust him against the Rams.   Carr is great too, but there is the risk of some rain in Oakland and that would break the tie for me.

Walker has been good so many weeks and its hard to get away from him.  Gates has a tough matchup and Henry is healthy now.
