Long time lurker, but I seldom post. I've read and followed this thread from the beginning.

BB, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. You have handled this with more dignity and grace than I ever would have thought possible. I do not believe I would have been able to project such a positive outlook as you have through such a heart wrenching ordeal.

My family has had the prospect of a potentially fatal heart condition with my son hanging over our heads for the past 8 years, so I would like to think I would be able to draw strength from how you have handled such a devastating tragedy. Luckily, my sons heart condition seems to be a very benign case, but in the beginning the prospect of losing him was terrifying. I continue to read and admire you, and Mr. Ham as well, for the way you project positive energy from such a terribly personal loss.

I wanted to stop in to say that this thread and Chance's story has had a big impact on my life and how I view the world with regards to my two young daughters.

He has had a lasting impression and I want to thank you for sharing the courage he showed and the strength and love you showed.
