I'll take heaven for the climate and hell for the untoasted Pop Tarts. You raw Pop Tart eating folks are clearly the spawn of Satan. The full name of these things is Pop Tarts toaster pastries. It says so right on the box. Only one who is wholly corrupted would go against their Creator by ignoring the "toaster" part of their name so blatantly.
Is Paula Deen your mom? Otherwise, butter is not needed to Pop Tarts. I'm not a butterphobe, it has it's place, but please leave the Pop Tart as is. It's clearly a stand alone item that does not need any shenanigans. I'll accept the not heated into the family, but leave butter out of it.Binky The Doormat said:Let's just agree that you're wrong.I like Pop Tarts, but I can't stand any of the frosted ones.![]()

We covered this at length a couple of years ago. It was clearly determined that frosted brown sugar cinnamon (warmed thoroughly with a dollop of butter) dominates all other pop tarts. It is acceptable to eat them without toasting - but only if you don't have access to warming them, including a microwave.
Toaster strudels are also ####### awesome but in a different enough category that one cannot be appropriately declared superior over the other.
I'm back less than 24 hours and find myself agreeing with Woz.Ridiculous. Strawberry with frostingTruthTruth hurts, huh?OH YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH.I like Pop Tarts, but I can't stand any of the frosted ones.
Unfrosted toasted with a dab of butter is the only way to go.![]()
Try this... Butter the top of an unfrosted brown sugar cinnamon pop tart or, better yet, a mapley brown sugar oatmeal pop tart and stick it under the broiler. ERMAHGERD!!!The unfrosted, toasted pop tarts with butter sounds like something I should try.
A guy that argues that butter doesn't make this #### better doesn't belong in a discussion about food.Is Paula Deen your mom? Otherwise, butter is not needed to Pop Tarts. Someone at work was talking about a peanut butter and butter sandwich. I love all of those ingredients, but that sounds nasty.I thought butter made everything better
My neighbor used to make those for me and my brother all the time when I was like 7. They were AWESOME!Someone at work was talking about a peanut butter and butter sandwich. I love all of those ingredients, but that sounds nasty.I thought butter made everything better
