Potential Wildcard Round NFC Match Ups. (1 Viewer)

Ministry of Pain

We got San Fran and Seattle looking like potential 12-3 vs 12-3 for all the Tostitos next week.

We have Minnesota expected to terrorize the Packers on MNF and that could result in a couple 11-4 teams that could both finish 12-4

The New Orleans Saints are likely to finish 12-4/13-3.

The Dallas-Philly winner is going to host a really good football team Seeded No 5.

Game 1-Seattle 12-4 @ Dallas 8-8

Game 2-Green Bay 12-4 @ Minnesota 12-4

or...

Green Bay 12-4 @ Philadelphia 8-8

San Fran 12-4 @ New Orleans 12-4

The ridiculous fact that a sub par team hosts a playoff game is one of the many reasons I hate the NFL. The seedlings need to be done on record, and record alone 1-6 or just drop the wildcard crap.

I think optimal thing for Saints is if Seattle beats SF and GB loses one. Then NO gets no. 1 seed?

If GB wins out they are the 2 seed at worst, regardless of what NO does. GB can still win the division even if they lose to the Vikings with a win next week against Detroit

For NFC my prediction is SF beats Seattle, Saints and GB route on Sunday.

So - would that make it SF = 1 seed, GB = 2 seed......Saints 3 seed vs Minnesota, setting up Philly vs Seattle.

AFC Im calling KC vs Tennessee, and Houston vs Buffalo.

No chance that GB loses to Detroit, so they're 2 seed at worst.  If Seattle beats SF then it's GB = 1, Saints = 2, Seattle = 3.   Much as I hate the Seahags I'll be rooting for them over the Niners this week

Niners will hammer down on Seattle who is way overrated.

11-4, +12 in points scored vs allowed...they are 7 wins up with only 12 more points scored, that's so telling IMHO. I ain't Seattle hater, I'm just a person who likes to bet so I don't have any fanboy in this one way or the other but I think the Niners win big on Sunday, Seattle will be visiting Philly in the wildcard.
