I would hate pick 2 because while those RB's are great, you expect only 2 to 3 years. In 2 years from now it will cost you both to get Green. He is my vote but I would be trading down for sure. Rodgers would be pick 2 but QB to me is easier to get later.
okay foster as well. the gap after those top 3 rbs is huge. i can't believe all the votes for rodgers. it's like people forget about value drafting. and tiers.
Rice is 25 and McCoy is 23 (will be 24 before the season starts). The "worthless" age for RBs just keeps getting lower and lower on these boards. Before we know it, we'll be talking about college sophmores as already being washed up.Sure Rice and McCoy's trade value may be at a low point in their year 28 season, but that doesn't mean they will no longer be effective contributors. I voted for Calvin at 1 and I wouldn't think anyone taking Green or Rodgers at No. 2 was making a huge mistake, but the downgrading of young RBs in dynasty talk is getting a little out of control.

The problem is, a LOT of people would go with a RB, but the votes are split between Rice, McCoy, and Foster. I voted for Foster myself.Rodgers is the only QB candidate (maybe Cam), so he is going to get the vote from all the QB early fans. Meanwhile, all 3 of the RBs mentioned above have only a few less votes than he does.

Funny, I was just about to post that 2 guys are glaring omissions from the list, AJ Green and Matt Stafford. Both of those guys should be on the list as options. Stafford should easily be on there if Newton is going to be. This is a PPR format, right? At least 1 WR has to be on the list for the 1.02 pick IMO. This seems flawed to me.

Probably because 28 is not old for a QB in the slightest, it's usually when they are just entering their prime as your talking probably 7 more years of top production. At this point, the risk of bust with Cam & Stafford who really only have 1 year of data outwieghs the extra years of usable life (for most people IMHO.)
