Looking for ROS in a PPR League

Kenneth Dixon
Week 5 - Home vs. Washington
Week 6 - at NY Giants
week 7 - at NY Jets
week 8 - BYE
week 9 - Home vs. Pittsburgh

Charles Sims
week 5 - at Carolina
week 6 - BYE
week 7 - at San Francisco
week 8 - home vs. Oakland
week 9 - home vs. Atlanta

I assume Doug Martin is back after the bye, so I am definitely leaning Dixon.  Was really disappointed in Sims last week - I know it's the Broncos, but only catching one pass?

I'd go with Dixon. Sims is not a third down back and I think the Bucs know that now and will starting reducing his role. Dixon probably will take over the starting role once West falters.

Yeah I'd go Dixon he's got a chance to take over, I feel like the ravens cut forsett more because Dixon is back than because they think terrance west is a lead back

I'd go with Dixon.  It seems like the Ravens want to get him involved more.  West had a good week last week but I believe it's a matter of  a couple weeks before we see Dixon as the starter.  Reading what Harbaugh been saying about the backfield makes me believe that Dixon is  slated to be the starter soon.  If West was their guy, he would have said West is our starter instead of saying it's unpredictable.  Another option would be D. Washington from the Raiders if he's available.  It sounds like Murray is doubtful and could open up some opportunities for Washington.

Ravens homer here. I was bearish on Dixon's chances of become a breakout player before last week, but a few things have changed.

1) Forsett is gone. This means a huge opportunity for touches and it means they don't think they need him anymore because of what Dixon brings to the table (also Forsett was making too much money).

2) The running game finally got going after a terrible start.

3) The coaches don't trust West. He has been the better back since the start of camp and they didn't give him the reigns until week 4. Reading between the lines with Harbaugh's comments, they want Dixon to take the job. He will get a chance to do so (maybe not immediately, I think Harbaugh will remain cautious, but soon), and he is a great fit for the Trestman offence.

Dixon is my vote.

Im going with the crowd here.  Going with Dixon, even in the short term.  Sims is dealing with injury and they have already said they are going to mix in Rodgers more to help keep sims healthy.  Dixon is going to fight with a stable of other backs this week but he is the guy that the staff wants to be their lead back and the only one who could have the ability to be a bell cow back.  I think if he hits the ground running hard early in the game he could faze out the other guys to some extent.
