PPR "Superflex" League Strategy. (1 Viewer)

I'm in a longtime 12 team "Super flex" redraft league, meaning we can start a QB at flex. This obviously pushes QB values higher than they'd be in a standard league and generally the draft reflects this. A couple of years ago, we added PPR which generally pushes up WR values a ton, some RB's as well, and QB values down. The scoring is pretty standard with 4 points per passing TD and we start 2 RB's and 3 WR's. As such, I am in a bit of a quandry w/ my cheat sheets and draft strategy of trying to figure out how to balance the postional values, especially between WR and QB. QB's probably are still the highest scorers on average (although its much closer in PPR) , but the fact that we basically start 2 QB , but at least 3 WR's plays a role as well right? Does anyone have any experience with 2 QB/ Superflex PPR leagues (or any else) that can give me some thoughts.

FYI: I have the 1st overall pick in my draft and will probably pick Shady or JC (still going back and forth on that one), buit should i be considering a QB? At my next picks at 2.12 and 3.1, I have to think about taking a QB, but i'm not sure if the value will be there. Note that although this is a Superflex league, the draft does not go down like the many 2 QB mocks I have seen where there are like five QB taken in each of round 1 or 2. Historically, there have been about 4-5 QB's taken in the first 2 rounds and then another 3 or so (on average) taken over the next few rounds. I'm sure manning, Rodgers, Brees will be gone, so i have to figure out if I should be grabbing Stafford or Luck at that point if any of those guys fall to me. I'd probably grab one of those, and then a WR assuming one of Brown, Jordy, or Jeffrey is still available or Gronk. I've had years like a few years ago when I took Rodgers and Brady the first 2 rounds (when Brady was still considered a top five QB), and cruised to a 11-2 record, and then years like last year where i decided to wait on QB since I didn't like the value and then ending up taking Vick last year in the 6th round, and then eventually got Dalton very late (ended as 3rd best QB in my scoring system) and Palmer ( who I was able to trade and turn him into Cutler and then got Mccown when Cutler went down as well) so I survived the QB position pretty well, but I'm not looking to go that ugly at QB again (I did have Forte, Jimmy Graham, and Josh Gordon which helped carry me to a 10-3 record and a first round bye).

I'd love to hear some thoughts guys.

Thanks!

PS, I considered posting this in AC, but i figured it had enough of a strategy component to justify its placement in the Shark pool.

I play in a similar league but ALL TD's are 6 points, even QBs. You are at a significant disadvantage if you don't start 2 QBs. Our draft last year (first year adding a superflex) went QB heavy in the first 2 rounds. Ironically, myself and another owner went against the grain and cleaned up on the other positions. Both of us ended up drafting late tier QBs. I ended with Roth, Dalton, and Alex Smith and in the playoffs (4 teams). He also made the playoffs and ended up losing in the championship.

This year, the strategy seemed to be mixed for all owners. Half of the owners went with QB and the other half went with standard drafting.
