PR/KR Scoring? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering what the consensus is on PR/KR yardage scoring. I'm lobbying for our league to increase it but I'd like to see what (if any) points/yard your league awards.

Thanks.

My main league got rid of it 10 years ago and we never regretted it. It's too easy for mediocre players on bad teams to rack up kickoff return yardage.

If you're going to do it at all, you should make punt return yardage worth twice as much as kickoff return yardage, IMO.

I have to say I'm amazed at that. PR/KR yards are among the toughest there are.

So when a guy returns a kickoff or a punt 95 yards for a TD, people are good with him just getting 6 points?

We're on MFL and there's a category for a return of 40+ yards to get points so we chose that and give 2 points for any return of 40+ yards. A return of 39 yards or less gets 0 points.

i'm ok with PR/KR yardage... we use 1 pt per 25.... and award 6 points to a player if he scores a TD on a return on top of the yardage.... there are only a handful of fantasy relevant players who return kicks/punts right now... and there are very few kickoffs that even get returned.

If you're going to award the points for yardage, then you should give it to the D/ST, in my opinion.

Same scoring for us.

Players like Harvin, Sproles, Antonio Brown were beasts in our league partly because of return yardage. I think it gives you more options if you are starting 3wr and a flex. I think it makes it more interesting...Guys like Jarvis Landry have wr 2/3 upside.
