In a league with an early August draft and single preseason FAAb bidding window that ends tomorrow.
With a draft that early, a number of the late-risers were total unknowns and wern't drafted. #1 is probably Lundi but Norwood is out there as well.
I'm thinking of spending 80% of my FAAB budget for the year between those two guys - not because I'm short at RB but because I'm very short at WR and hoping to spin some of my RB depth (already sitting on Jordan, Droughns, Chester and Foster).
I'm not asking what to bid on Lundi or Norwood, I've got a pretty good sense of the league and what it will take to get them. the question is more general: does it make sense to effectively give up any shot at an unknown that will arise during the season for these two guys that arose during the preseason?
Has anyone looked at the impact of preseason fast-risers versus people who come to light during the season?
